This study investigates the critical role played by landscape design in attaining

the physical, mental and emotional well-eing of patients, visitors, and workers in
hospitals and healthcare facilities. Based on both outdoor and indoo andscaping
components, the study underlines the healing power of nature and natural
environments to foster recovery alleviate stress, and provide an atmosphere
conducive to healing. Results confirm that integrated landscape elements like
healing gardens, courtyards, and green views from patient wards make significant
contributions to user satisfaction and efficiency in healthcare delivery. The study
further evolves principles like biophilia, modularity, and sustainability and
promotes the use of inclusive and significant green spaces in healthcare complexes
and hospitals. In all, the study affirms the implementation of landscape
architecture as an intrinsic part of health facility design with an added impact on
patient health and overall well-being.
