I believe that the implementation of the class went well overall, despite some
unexpected situations. Fortunately, these did not hinder the flow or development of
the lesson.
I feel that all the planned activities were effective and achieve the intended
purpose. The students engaged easily, showing genuine interest in the topic and
expressing their ideas clearly, often supported by well-thought-out arguments. The
tasks I designed were interactive, and meaningful encouraging participation. I also
like the presentation; I captured students’ attention through the use of visual
elements which made the learning experience more enjoyable. The lesson allows
students to improve their writing, speaking and critical thinking skills in order to
expose and solve a problem.
At the beginning of the class; I felt quite nervous, which may have slightly affected
my performance, particularly in how I delivered instructions. However, as the
lesson progressed, I began to feel more comfortable and was able to teach more
naturally. Even though the students were able to understand and complete the
activities effectively, I wasn’t entirely satisfied with how I introduced and explained
the tasks. This is an area I recognize I need to improve on.
One specific point I noticed was that when responding to students’ questions,
repeating instructions or clarifying more than once could be helpful. Some students
may hesitate to ask for clarification, even if they haven’t fully understood. This
made me wonder whether I have created a classroom environment that fosters
confidence. I want to ensure that every student feels supported and safe to speak
up when they need help.
Additionally, I recognize the need to improve the way I provide feedback. I aim to
become more intentional about when and how I offer it ensuring it is timely,
constructive, and appropriate to the moment. Feedback is imperative for student
growth, and I want to make sure I’m using it in a way that truly benefits their
learning process.
