Country Profile / Exhibition Self-Reflection Sheet.
Instructions:
The questions on this sheet form part of the grade for your project.
See the personal learning AND team work standards on the marking rubric
(Managbac) for specific information regarding how marks will be awarded.
Do not mention specific individuals by name on this reflection. It is a self-reflection.
1) What was one of the biggest challenges you had as a group? Why was this such a
challenge?
I think one of the biggest challenges I experienced was the string on the board. It kept
dropping down when I used the tape and it was really annoying because I had to stick it
on again and again. It kept falling down whenever someone approached and at the end
we just let it be.
2) What suggestions do you have to improve on this and work more effectively together in
the future?
I think that we could use a stronger tape next time because half of the text kept falling
down. We could work more efficiently to do the text, as well as the board and the food.
3) On a scale of 1 – 10, 10 being best, how well do you feel you demonstrated respect for
the opinions of others in the group? Why did you give yourself this score?
I give myself a 7.5 because I basically went along with everything others were saying. I
respected all opinions, even when I heard one I didn’t really want to do, but since they
wanted it, then I just said “yes” and went along with the new idea.
4) What is one change you could make in the way you listen to others that would improve
your effectiveness in working in a group?
I could stop whatever I was doing at that moment and just listen to my teammates when
they have advice and when they wanted to speak. We could work more on
communicating together as a team and speaking up when we wanted something or
advice.

5) How would you rate yourself, on a scale of 1 – 10, on how well you were willing to agree
with group decisions? What could you do to move yourself up a number on that scale?
I rate myself a 9.5 because I agreed with everything my teammates said. There were
some great decisions, some medium ones, and some I didn’t really get, but decisions are
decisions and they made our board look better, and I just wanted the board to be
finished, so I just said sure and followed them.
6) What took the most time deciding as a group? Why do you think it was a challenging
decision?
The pictures, the materials, and most importantly, the scissors. We argued a lot over the
scissors but in the end it all went well. Everyone wanted the scissors at the same time,
and I only had one. We talked a lot about the scissors and “GIVE ME THE SCISSORS”
every time, so we didn’t really have time left to do other stuff.
7) What ideas did you introduce to the group. Did you have to work to resolve any conflict
and have to encourage team members to participate? How did you do this?
I introduced flan and other food to the group. Everyone liked the flan, and they said that
the food looked delicious. I didn’t have to encourage team members to participate, as
everyone did their part and worked together well.
8) What is one skill you have that you feel really benefitted the group?
I have listening skills. When someone wanted something, I listened to them and gave
them what they wanted.
9) What was your personal contribution to the group?
I made the video, text, jokes, printed some pictures and introduced some other ideas to
the group.

10) What were some of your strengths in terms of your contribution to the task?
Some of my strengths were doing the board in the given time, doing the videos, and
basically helping everyone over who should get the scissors.
11) What were some of your limitations and is there anything you could improve on for next
time?
I could improve on getting the board done earlier than before the day we presented.
12) What were some of the skills that you learnt or improved on during the task?
We had 3 backups for our text! Not just the first version, but also two other backups! Backups are very useful
when you need some.
