AFSU - amenities, facilities, services and utilities, whereby:

an amenity may be a feature that increases attractiveness or value of a site


or a building / structure or its grounds / site. This may include but are not
limited to a special space of a highly public nature but which require huge
investments in material and equipment such as an urban designed plaza,
fountain, public sculpture, an auditorium, an infinity pool, a lush deck roof
garden, a revolving restaurant, an executive lounge, an entertainment area
and similar upscale provisions or spacious but expensive architectural design
features such as oversized spaces, full automation including closed-circuit
television (CCTV), very tall ceilings, large insulated or light-sensitive
windows, glass floors, embedded luminaires on walls and floors, use of high-
grade finishing materials such as very expensive alloys such as titanium,
furniture / fixtures / fittings / equipment, large slabs of natural granite, and
the like;

What is the meaning of the word amenities?

all envisioned tasks and for general safety and security, and the like; and

utilities are the outdoor and / or indoor electrical, electronics, mechanical,


sanitary, plumbing and related components of a building / structure as
supported by their external counterpart components introduced on the
grounds / site and linked to other counterpart components found at the
RROW / street.
1. Amenities

These are features that add value and convenience to a space but are not
necessarily essential. They improve the quality of life for occupants.

 Examples: Parks, playgrounds, gyms, swimming pools, community


centers, clubhouses, gardens

2. Facilities

These refer to physical infrastructures designed to support a specific function


or activity within a built environment.

 Examples: Schools, hospitals, libraries, sports complexes, markets,


parking areas

3. Services

These are intangible provisions that support the daily needs of people within
a community or building.
 Examples: Security, waste management, transportation, fire
protection, maintenance, housekeeping

4. Utilities

These are essential systems that provide basic necessities to buildings and
communities, usually involving energy, water, and communication networks.

 Examples: Electricity, water supply, sewage systems, gas, internet,


telecommunications
