Research Design
The purpose of this study is to determine the impacts of academic stress on the
well-being of grade 11 students. To achieve this objective, a descriptive research design
will be utilized. This study will apply quantitative data collection technique to gather data
and information needed for this study.
This quantitative research study will be used to provide patterns and averages,
make predictions, and generalize results to wider populations (Bhandari, 2023). This
study will involve the use of modified questionnaires to collect data on the impacts of
academic stress on the well- being of the grade 11 students. The data collected will be
analyzed using weighted mean analysis through a Likert scale.
Sampling Technique
The researchers will use purposive sampling technique this quantitative study.
Moreover, purposive sampling technique will provide this study a ground to select those
grade 11 students that are affected with their well-being by academic stress.
Furthermore, Nikolopoulou (2022), defines purposive sampling as a technique in
which units are selected because they have characteristics that is needed in sample.
This sampling method relies on the researcher’s judgment when identifying and
selecting the individuals, cases, or events that can provide the best information to
achieve the study’s objectives.
