been covered in this study. This includes methodology, findings, limitations,
objectives, implications, suggestions for future questions to be investigated,
and conclusion. It restates the study’s objectives and the questions that the
study has attempted to answer, highlighting the theoretical frameworks that
have been used to analyze tech leader’s discourse. Moreover, this chapter
summarizes the findings of the study that demonstrated how tech leaders
employ various communications strategies, inconsistent framing, and
persuasive techniques to promote the use of AI in different domains, ranging
from most important and sensitive to less significant once, and to address
the ethical issues that AI encounters such as misuse of AI, transparency, and
biases. Despite these accurate findings, the study has limitations that has to
be mentioned and implications that can be taped into by policymakers,
investors, users, and leaders. This study offers a path for future investigation
on tech leader’s discourse, using interdisciplinary approaches and
comprehensive data. Overall, the study has sought to make a valuable
contribution to a deep understanding of tech leader’s speech and the use of
AI.

.1. Objectives of the Study:

This study has endeavored to investigate about the way tech leaders
talk about artificial intelligence and use a variety of communication
strategies to achieve their goal, which is convincing the audience to adopt AI
in different domains. And, it has analyzed how these tech leaders tackle the
ethical challenges that AI faces. Through different theoretical frameworks,
the study has drilled down how tech leaders used language, inconsistent
framing, and persuasive techniques to make the audience strongly rush to
start embracing AI, framing AI as something that is creative, effective
assistance, and a necessary tool for the survival of humanity. While
reinforcing positive framing, they have also addressed the downside of AI
that keeps the audience in a state of doubt about the way it might be
negatively used; they have strongly urged for collective responsibility,
collaboration, and investment to ensure proper and moral use of AI in various
domains. By conducting this analysis, the study has aimed to provide
valuable insights on how tech leaders promote AI, and widen the
understanding of AI’s situation in today’s world.

The study has sought to answer the following questions:

 What are the persuasive techniques that tech leaders use to promote
AI systems?
 How do tech leaders address the ethical issues surrounding AI
systems?

5. 2. Organization of the Study:

This study is divided into five chapters that have covered the
continent of the study in coherent order. The first chapter has provided an
overview on the evolution of artificial intelligence, stated the objectives and
the implications of the study, the questions that the study seeks to answer
and the structure of the study. The second chapter has scrutinized the
existing literature about the topic, introduced the key concepts that are
pertaining to the topic, the theoretical frameworks that have been used to
analyze tech leader’s speech. In the third chapter, the research methodology
has been elaborated with providing sample examples, the explanation of how
panel and the method of analysis work. The subsequent chapter delves into
the findings of the study. Lastly, a conclusion chapter that highlights what has
been discovered based on the analysis.

5.3. summary of the Methodology:

This study has employed a discourse analysis, and qualitative

research methodology to analyze tech leader’s communications, focusing on
language choice, persuasive techniques, and the way they presented AI to
the audience. By conducting a systematic investigation, the study has sought
to unravel the way by which tech leaders promote the use of AI in the world;
this is done through searching for conversational strategies that the speakers
have used in their responses. Moreover, the study has used persuasive
theory to uncover how the speakers employed ethos, pathos, and logos
techniques to communicatively empower their communications. Due to the
need to present AI to the audience, the study has opted for using the framing
theory to detect how the speakers have presented AI to the listeners and
what features are ascribed to it.

5.4. Summary of the Findings:

The study has delved into how tech leaders have used language,
conversational strategies, and the way by which they have presented AI to
the audience to promote the adoption of AI. The speakers have utilized a
consistent narrative that positively sought to promote and normalize the use
of AI in various domains. This has been conducted using persuasive
techniques, conversational strategies, and strategic framing. The findings
have showed that the speakers strongly emphasized the economic and
intellectual power that AI can have, using evidence and argumentations that
are supported by data. This aimed to present AI as an economic and
intellectual tool that would outperform experts and revolutionize the world’s
economy. Moreover, the speakers have appealed to emotions in multiple
occasions where they have evoked the feelings of awe and fear in regard to
AI’s capabilities, which are used to induce the audience to take actions and
internalize the urgency of the situation. The speakers also relied on the
establishment of credibility in their responses; they have utilized technical
terms, and personal success to build trust with the audience and make them
attentively listen to what they have said.

Regarding ethical issues, the speakers have framed AI as a positive

force that can help humanity thrive, and as a challenge that needs collective
efforts and responsibility to be overcome. They have emphasized the urgent
need for the involvement of different parties such as governments,
institutions, and policymakers in establishing informed regulations and laws,
and making investments to minimize the downside of AI how it can be
misused to harm humans. However, They highlighted the moral side of AI
through how it can be employed in healthcare to save lives, and provide the
opportunity for people to be more creative by helping them actualize their
ideas as they want them to be, which is something that instill a moral and
positive perception of AI into the audience’s mind.

Overall, the study has offered valuable insights about how these speakers
wailed language, and conversational strategies , and framing to present AI to
the audience and persuade them that they must urgently and carefully
embrace artificial intelligence in various ways and domains, focusing on the
urgency, necessity, creativity, and profitability that AI possesses. The study
has combined different frameworks to accurately extract these themes from
the speaker’s communications.

5.5. Limitations of the Study:

Even though the study has provided a comprehensive analysis of how

tech leaders promote AI, there are some limitations that has to be
mentioned. First, the study has exclusively depended on one public available
panel discussion “The Future of AI: Leaders from TikTok, Google & More Weigh
In” which offers rich and related discourse, but it does not provide a diverse
perspective where there are individuals who express their rejections
dissenting voices, leading to the lock of a comprehensive discourse on AI
adoption. Moreover, the data source is taken from a promotional context
where the language of progress, innovation, and creativity dominate the
discussion, which influences the findings of the study. This leads to another
limitation, which is the subjective nature of the interpretation of the analysis;
the analysis is based on the researcher’s perspective and can not be
overgeneralized as it relies on personal judgment in the process of applying
the theories that have been used to analyze the data. This means that the
findings should be seen as interpretive and subjective, and not as a definitive
in nature. Furthermore, the study does not investigate how the audience
responded to the discussion, which limits our understanding of the
effectiveness of the communications strategies that tech leaders have used.
In essence, the study has some limitations that need further investigations to
improve the accuracy of the findings.

5.6. Implications of the study:

The study has offered valuable insights into how tech leaders use
rhetorical strategies to promote the use of AI and address the ethical issues
that surround it. By conducting this analysis, the study helps in
understanding how tech leaders use language as a powerful tool to shape the
perception of AI in society, uncovering that they do not only rely on technical
side, but they also use the persuasive, emotional, strategic side in promoting
AI systems. Moreover, the study can help in Media Literacy; the findings can
improve the critical thinking public discourse by allowing the audience to
recognize the persuasive techniques used in AI related communication. The
findings of this study can be taped into by policymakers and regulators who
should be aware of the way AI is talked about and the framing that is used to
ethically present AI systems. Finally, the study demonstrate a methodological
approach that consists of interdisciplinary tools from rhetoric, linguistic, and
media studies that can be expanded on or replicated to examine other
materials.

5.7. Future Research Suggestions:

The study has investigated how tech leaders use language and
communication strategies to promote the adoption of artificial intelligence.
This opens more doors for future investigations that can enhance the
understanding of how AI is promoted in the world. These future investigations
can involve examining how the audience decodes and responds to these
messages, using more theoretical frameworks, and quantitative approaches
to gain a comprehensive understanding of how the audience interacts with
tech leader’s communications. Moreover, further studies can be conducted to
investigate how tech leaders promote AI in different cultures and geopolitical
contexts, and how the perception of AI differs from one culture to another.
This should enhance the comprehension of how AI is promoted and how the
audience responds to it.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, the study examines how tech leaders promote AI
systems , focusing on language, conversational analysis, and persuasive
techniques that they employ to achieve their goals. In this way, the study
uncovers the way by which these tech leaders talk about AI and present it as
something that is revolutionary, necessary, and creative. The study unravels
how these tech leaders address the ethical challenges that AI faces, and the
points that they make to reduce the fear, skepticism, and make other parties
get involved in fixing these challenges. Moreover, these findings have broad
implications that concern users, investors, leaders, government, and
regulators who should understand the way AI is promoted where these tech
leaders want it to go, offering insights that they can use to gain that
understanding. Nevertheless, the study addresses the limitations of the study
that has to be taken into account and make further suggestions for studies
that can improve the understanding of AI adoption in the world and tech
leader’s discourse.
