Advertisement for various vacancies in contractual Position
under Assam Society for Social Audit
Online applications are invited from the intending eligible candidates who are citizens of India for
filling up the State, Districts and Block level contractual position under Assam Society for Social
Audit, Assam.
Name of Post Social Development Specialist
Number of posts 01 (One).
Qualification MA in Sociology /Economics or Master of Social Work.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification working experience in the field of
Social Audit and rights of the poor. Preference will be given to those who
work experience on social audits/accountability related issues.
Monthly remuneration Rs. 50, 000/-
Age Maximum age up to 45 years as on 01-01-2025.
Engagement status The engagement shall be initially for a period of 11Month under ASSA.
Placement The engaged Social Development Specialist will be placed in the State Head
Quarter of Assam Society For Social Audit Assam.
Name of Post State Audit Expert
Number of posts 04 (Four).
Qualification MA in Sociology /Economics or Master of Social Work.
Experience Minimum 3 years of post-qualification working experience in the field of
Social Audit and rights of the poor. Preference will be given to those who
have work experience on social audits/accountability related issues.
Monthly remuneration Rs. 40,000/-
Age Maximum age up to 40 years as on 01-01-2025.
Engagement status The engagement shall be initially for a period of 11Month under ASSA.
Placement The engaged Social Development Specialist will be placed in the State Head
Quarter of Assam Society For Social Audit Assam.
Name of Post District Resource Peron
Number of posts 05 (Five).
Qualification MA in Sociology /Economics or Master of Social Work.
Experience Minimum 3 years of post-qualification working experience in the field of
Social Audit and rights of the poor. Preference will be given to those who have
work experience on social audits/accountability related issues.
Monthly remuneration Rs. 30,000/-
Age Maximum age up to 38 years as on 01-01-2025.

Placement The engaged District Resource Person will be placed in any of the vacant
position in the district and is transferable within the state of Assam.
Name of Post IT Specialist
Number of posts 01(one)
Qualification B.E/[Link] in Computer Science/ Information Technology or post graduate
degree in Computer Application from any recognized Central University/ State
University.
Experience He/ She should have the knowledge of MIS, Software and database
development, implementation and maintenance. Preference will be given to
those who have experience in working with any Govt. Department or Private
sector.
Monthly remuneration Rs 30,000/-
Age Maximum age up to 38 years as on 01-01-2025.
Engagement status The engagement shall be initially for a period of 11Month under ASSA.
Placement The engaged Social Development Specialist will be placed in the State Head
Quarter of Assam Society For Social Audit Assam.
Name of Post Accountant Cum Office Assistant
Number of posts 01 (One)
Qualification Bachelor Degree in Commerce stream from any Central/State university
Experience Preference will be given to those who have experience in handling accounts
related work in Govt. PSU/Semi Govt. Department/ Institutions. Working
knowledge of Financial Management/ Budgeting/GST/TDS/VAT/ P Tax / fling
of Income Tax, etc. Computer knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Tally etc.
Monthly remuneration Rs 20,000/-
Age Maximum age up to 38 years as on 01-01-2025.
Engagement status The engagement shall be initially for a period of 11Month under ASSA.
Placement The engaged Social Development Specialist will be placed in the State Head
Quarter of Assam Society For Social Audit Assam.
Name of Post Block Resource Person
Number of posts 36 (Thirty Six).
Qualification Graduate in any Discipline
Experience & 1. He /She should be prepared to work in any districts of the State.
Desirable 2. He/ She should have minimum one year experience of working in any
govt. dept./organization or reputed civil society Organization working
in Assam
Monthly remuneration Rs. 12,000/- Plus TA/DA as per approved rate of ASSA
Age Maximum age up to 38 years as on 01-01-2025.
Engagement status The engagement shall be initially for a period of one year under RGSA project.
Placement The engaged Block Resource Person will be placed in any of the vacant
position in the district and is transferable within the state of Assam.
Location : Baksa, Chirang, Cachar, Charaideo, Dima Hasao, Majuli, Karbi Anglong, Kokrajhar, South
Salmara Mankachar, Tamulpur, Sivasagar.
Note: The decision of the Assam Society for Social Audit, Assam as to the eligibility or otherwise of a
candidate shall be final.

● CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY IN PRESCRIBED FORM THROUGH ONLINE
MODE ONLY. NO OTHER MODE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION IS ALLOWED.

● Before applying online, candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions provided in
the above website. Candidates are required to upload:
1) A latest passport size photograph.
2) Admit Card / Certificate of HSLC examination.
3) Qualifying Examination Certificates and Mark sheets.
4) Experience Certificate.
5) Scanned Signature.
6) Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidates).
Note: No other document i.e. the hard copy of the online application form, registration slip etc. are
required to be send to the Assam Society For Social Audit, Assam.
❖ Since the applications are submitted online, the question of submission of applications through
proper channel in case of the candidates already employed becomes redundant. However, such
candidates shall intimate their appropriate appointing authorities about submission of application
in writing.
❖ Last date of application:
ONLINE FORM MAY BE FILLED–UP W.E.F. 12/08/2025 TO MIDNIGHT OF 27/08/2025
ONLY.
NO APPLICATION CAN BE FILLED UP AFTER EXPIRY OF THE GIVEN TIME AS THE
LINK WILL BE DISABLED.
Note: The applicants are advised to submit only a single application against each post.
(However, if due to any unavoidable situation, he / she submits another / multiple applications,
then he / she must ensure that the application with the higher Registration Number is complete in
all respects which will be accepted.)
Mode of Selection: There shall be two phases in the selection process:
Phase- I: The Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an objective
type written test to be held in Guwahati on a date to be notified later on in website-
[Link]
The syllabus of the Objective Type Written Test will be as follows:

Phase - II: Against each vacancy, 3 candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained
in the written test. After the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Personal
Interview to be held in Guwahati. Total marks for the Personal Interview will be 20 Marks.
Note: The decision of ASSA, Assam as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to
the examination shall be final.
