Course Information
Description
Calculus is a branch of mathematics that studies motion, including rates of change, slopes of curves, and areas under
curves. Calculus has uses in various field, including science, computer science, engineering and economics.

In this course, we introduce students to fundamental principles of calculus. We start with the relationship to limits.
Then we explore key concepts of differentiation and integration.

Expectations and Goals


Student learn to use calculus to formulate problem, solve problems and communicate their solutions to other.
Students learn to read a college-level textbook and ask good questions. Students learn to work together cooperatively.
