TOPIC: IDENTIFYING COMPUTER SYSTEM COMPONENTS

A. (i) Identify the motherboard components:

- CPU socket

- RAM slots

- SATA connectors

- PCIe slots

- CMOS battery

- Chipset

- Power connectors

- USB headers

B. (i) Check the configuration of the system and state the steps for checking the configuration:

1. Power on the computer.

2. Press F2, DEL, or F10 to enter BIOS/UEFI.

3. Check processor type, RAM size, hard drive, and motherboard model.

4. For detailed info in Windows:

- Press Windows + R, type dxdiag, press Enter.

- Or open Task Manager > Performance tab.

- Or open System Information (msinfo32) for full specs.
