1. Tell me about yourself.


I am Pavan Bhaskar Khandare, currently pursuing an MBA in Marketing at Sinhgad
Institute of Management, Pune. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from D.K. Patil
Institute of Pharmacy, Nanded, where I developed a strong foundation in healthcare and
pharmaceuticals.

During my MBA, I interned at CavinKare as a Management Trainee, where I worked on


market research, sales strategy, and consumer behavior analysis. This experience helped
me develop analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

I have also earned certifications in Market Research, Digital Marketing, and Excel Skills,
which have enhanced my ability to analyze market trends and consumer preferences.

Beyond academics, I was the captain of my college cricket team, participated in various
competitions like Adzilla and Pharma T-20 Cup, and won the Kabaddi Pharma Week
competition.

I am passionate about marketing and market research and eager to apply my skills in a
dynamic organization like TCS.

2. Walk me through your resume.


Sure! I completed my Bachelor’s in Pharmacy and then pursued an MBA in Marketing to
gain business and analytical skills. During my MBA, I interned at CavinKare, where I
gained hands-on experience in market research and sales strategies.

3. Why did you choose to pursue an MBA in Marketing after completing a Bachelor's in
Pharmacy?
While studying pharmacy, I developed a keen interest in market trends, consumer
behavior, and business strategy, especially in the pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors. I
realized that having strong marketing and research skills would allow me to create a bigger
impact in the industry.

An MBA in Marketing provides me with the strategic thinking, data analysis, and
communication skills needed to understand and influence customer behavior, which aligns
with my career aspirations.

4. What are your short-term and long-term career goals?

 Short-term goal: Secure a role in market research, sales, or digital marketing


where I can apply my analytical and strategic skills.

concepts?
My pharmacy background has given me a deep understanding of consumer needs,
product development, and healthcare market trends. This knowledge is valuable in
pharmaceutical and FMCG marketing, where companies need to understand how products
impact consumers.

7. What was the most challenging subject in your MBA program? How did you
overcome it?
One of the most challenging subjects was data analytics in marketing. To overcome this, I
took additional certifications, attended workshops, and practiced Excel and analytical
tools, which improved my confidence in working with data.

8. Tell us about the research paper you worked on.


I worked on a research paper titled "Investigation, Development, and Evaluation of
Tablets from Blepharis Repens (Hadsan)." It focused on how traditional medicinal
plants can be used in modern pharmaceuticals for treating bone fractures, skin diseases,
and allergies.

9. Tell us about your internship at CavinKare.


At CavinKare, I worked as a Management Trainee, focusing on market research, sales,
and distributor management. I analyzed consumer trends, identified key growth areas,
and worked closely with the sales team to improve market strategies.

10. What challenges did you face during your internship, and how did you handle
them?
One challenge was convincing retailers to stock CavinKare products. Many preferred
established brands. I handled this by highlighting the unique selling points (USP) of our
products and providing promotional strategies, which improved product acceptance.

trend analysis. My JP Morgan Chase Job Simulation training also improved my data
analysis skills.

As a team captain, I developed leadership, decision-making, and teamwork skills. I
