Ans. Web browser is software that is used to view websites. It is an interface between a
user & the World Wide Web. A Web browser can have a graphical user interface. The
features & facilities offered by the web browser include downloads, bookmarks, &
password management.
The most popular web browsers are:

3. What is the difference between Website & Web page?

Ans. The primary difference between a webpage and a website is that a webpage is a
single document on the Internet under a unique URL. In contrast, a website is a collection
of multiple webpages in which information on a related topic or other subject is linked
together under a domain address.

4. Define URL. Explain its parts with the help of an example.

Ans. URL is an acronym for Uniform Resource Locator and is a reference (an address) to a
resource on the Internet. A URL has two main components: i.e., Protocol name &
Resource name
Parts of URL
1) PROTOCOL IDENTIFIER : For the URL
[Link] , the protocol identifier is http .
2) RESOURCE NAME : For the URL
http:// [Link] , the resource name is the [Link]
