My General Mathematics Journey
General Mathematics has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding
parts of my senior high school journey. At first, I honestly struggled with the
formulas, problem solving, and logical reasoning. There were moments when
I felt like giving up, but I realized that every difficult lesson was also an
opportunity for me to sharpen my patience and determination. Slowly, I
learned that Math is not only about numbers, but also about discipline and
critical thinking.
What truly made my GenMath experience meaningful was the way it trained
me to be consistent and hardworking. Every exercise and activity forced me
to practice until I understood the lesson better. I also gained confidence by
learning from my mistakes and by asking questions whenever I was
confused. These little victories reminded me that progress may be slow, but
it is still progress worth celebrating.
I believe I deserve a passing grade in General Mathematics because, despite
my struggles, I never gave up. I showed effort, participated in class, and
continued to push myself to improve. Passing this subject will not only reflect
my grades, but also the perseverance I built in facing challenges. GenMath
taught me that success is not about being the smartest, but about being
willing to keep learning and that is something I will carry with me beyond this
subject.
