Exploring structure of data, Data Pre-processing (Dimension Reduction and Feature subset
selection), Model [Link] a model (for superviesed learning), K-fold cross validation
method, Bootstrap sampling,Lazy vs Eager Learner. Underfitting, overfitting, Bias-variance trade-off.
UNIT–III 10 Hrs.
Supervised Learning: Introduction, Classification (Introduction, classification model, learning
steps, Common classification algorithm), Regression (Linear Regression, Multivariable Regression,
Logistic Regression).
UNIT–IV 10 Hrs.
Unsupervised Learning: Introduction and its applications, Techniques in Unsupervised Learning
(Clustering, K-Means). Neural Network: Introduction, Architecture of Artificial Neural Network.

Course Outcomes
After completion of the course student will be able to:
1. Understand the basic concepts of AI and ML, including types of machine learning and applications. .

4. Understand and apply unsupervised learning techniques like clustering and dimensionality
reduction.
5. Understand the structure and functioning of artificial neural networks and their application in
solving problems.
