Static Routing Topology Using 3 Routers
What is Static Routing?
Static routing is a method of manually configuring routes in a router’s routing table. Unlike
dynamic routing protocols, static routing does not change automatically and is suitable for
smaller or stable networks where the routes do not change frequently.
Topology Overview
- Router0: Connected to LAN [Link]/24
- Router1: Connected to LAN [Link]/24
- Router2: Connected to LAN [Link]/24
- Serial Connections:
• - Router0 ⇔ Router1 ([Link]/8)
• - Router1 ⇔ Router2 ([Link]/8)
Configuration Steps

Verifying Connectivity
Use the ping command from one PC to another (e.g., PC0 to PC5 or PC8) to test full
communication between networks.
