Q-32 Why are you not completing your degree here in Pakistan? / Why not opt for
studies in your own homeland?
I believe education is not just about the curriculum—it's also about the environment,
exposure, and experiences that come with it. While there are institutions in Pakistan
offering business degrees, I chose to pursue my MSc in International Business
Management from the University of Suffolk in the UK to immerse myself in a truly
global learning environment. Studying abroad offers the chance to engage with
people from diverse backgrounds, work on international case studies, and learn
business strategies used across different economies. This broader exposure is hard to
fully replicate in a local setting.
In addition, the teaching style in the UK is more focused on practical application,
critical thinking, and independent research. The University of Suffolk, for example,
emphasizes industry-led learning, leadership development, and real-world projects,
which align closely with how business actually works on a global scale. This type of
learning gives me not just theoretical knowledge, but also hands-on experience in
decision-making, cultural intelligence, and global market dynamics—skills that are
increasingly important even in local business environments.
My goal is to return to Pakistan with this international knowledge and contribute to its
business landscape. Whether it's through working with a multinational company,
advising local businesses on global best practices, or launching my own venture, I
want to bridge the gap between local potential and global standards. I see this
degree as an investment—not just in my own career, but in my ability to bring back
something valuable to Pakistan’s growing economy.

40 hours per week
