Many different countries have most shops and products as the same.
Some consider it a positve
development whereas other consider it negative. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
There is a school of thought that most same stores and products are presented in different parts of the
world. Although it is true that such trend yields multiple merits, I would contend that there are some
remarkable demerits worth taking into account.
Standardized products, according to proponents, provide high levels of accessibility and convenience.
Customers now have more options for finding goods in their own country without having to travel far or
search online, as everything is now available. Furthermore, the global brands and products have been
used by many people all over the world, implying that the uniformity of shops and products is very high
quality and everyone's favorite.
Nevertheless, there can be no doubt that standardized products would damage the domestic economy
since most of the globalization of shops and goods is increasing in popularity making other internal
stores as well as commodities cannot meet the need of people. For that reasons, latter establishments
and merchandise are not able to thrive and the country have to face up to the loss of revenue. Another
disadvantages worth pointing out is that international businesses and merchandise would also wreak
havoc on environmental issues. The more retail sectors converge, the more plastics and non-
biodegradable wastes exist. As a consequence, this action can pose a major threat to public health and
aninamals’ habitants.
In conclusion, while both opinions are justifiable, I would gravitate toward the negative aspects of same
shops and products due to
