6. Motivation
Before we’re going to start our lesson, I
have something to show you. Clap three
times if the picture show four sides and
clap once if the shape doesn’t have four
sides.

A. ACTIVITY
Now, let’s proceed to our activity. The title
of our activity is COMPLETE THE
PUZZLE.

So, in this activity I will divide the class


into three groups. Each group will be
given a puzzle to complete, after
completing the puzzle choose a presenter
to present your work.

(the teacher will distribute the puzzles)

I will give you three minutes to complete


the puzzle, if you are done clap three
times and as I call your group the chosen
presenter should come here in front and
present the image that you completed.

You may start.


(After three minutes the students start to
clap and present their works)

Okay class, our topic for today is all about
the Different Kinds of Quadrilaterals. As
we look the word quadrilaterals, the first
four letters QUAD means four, LATERAL
means side.

Quadrilateral is polygon with 4 sides and


4 angles.

KINDS OF QUADRILATERALS

SQUARE
It has four equal sides and opposites
sides are parallel. All its four corners are
right angles or 90°.

4. I have two pairs of equal and parallel sides. All of my corner measure 90°.
