A. Prerequisite Skills/knowledge
Knowledge of making simple paragraphs.
Updated of some current economic issues.
Skills in making an essay with the help of World wide web.
B. Description of the task
Learners will write a short essay or personal point of view regarding the current economic status of our
country. Write it with not less than two paragraphs and each paragraph must have not less than four
sentences. You can use google to have an idea about your topic. Create your own title.
C. Instructions for the Teacher
1. Present the topic and learning objectives.
2. Explain the different parts of paragraph. Show them an example of simple paragraph.
3. Guide them with prompts or questions to help learners to create their own paragraph.
4. Use a rubric that values both communication quality and depth reflection about the topic.
5. Monitor and guide the learner while doing the task.
6. Ask the learner to show their output in the class.
7. Provide each learner a copy of Attachment 1 Learner’s Guide (LG), Attachment 2 Reflection
Paper, Attachment 3 Learner’s Score Sheet (LSS), Worksheet No.1. Read and explain the
contents of the documents.
