Improved Writing Task Section

Writing Task A (Basic - Guided Questions)


Instruction:
Write a descriptive paragraph (5–7 sentences) about your favorite place at school. Use
these questions to help you:
- What is the place?
- What does it look like?
- What do you usually do there?
- Why do you like this place?

📝 Make sure your paragraph has clear structure and uses descriptive vocabulary.

Writing Task B (Higher Order Thinking)


Instruction:
Now write another descriptive paragraph (5–8 sentences) about a place outside of school
that is special to you (example: your bedroom, a park, your grandma’s house, etc.). This
time, try to include:
- A topic sentence that introduces the place
- At least three descriptive details (smell, sound, color, atmosphere, etc.)
- One reason why it is meaningful to you
- One sentence that concludes your paragraph

✅ Challenge yourself to use figurative language like similes or metaphors (e.g., "The room is
as cozy as a warm blanket").
