Topic 1: Your recommendations for someone travelling in your country.

If you're traveling to Vietnam, Đà Lạt is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and
dreamers alike. Located in the Central Highlands, this peaceful city is known for its cool
climate, pine forests, and romantic scenery. You can stroll around Xuan Huong Lake, visit the
colorful flower gardens, or explore the dreamy Valley of Love. Adventure lovers can ride the
cable car to Truc Lam Zen Monastery or go canyoning at Datanla Waterfall. The air is fresh,
the vibe is calm, and everything feels like a soft daydream. In the evening, the Đà Lạt Night
Market comes alive with cozy lights, delicious street food, and cute souvenirs. Don't forget to
bring a jacket — it gets chilly at night. Whether you want to relax or explore, Đà Lạt has a
little magic for every soul. It’s not just a place on the map; it’s a peaceful hug from nature
that stays with you.
Topic 2: How to have a healthier lifestyle
Living a healthier lifestyle is one of the best choices you can make to feel better both physically
and mentally. First, eating a balanced diet is essential. For example, including more vegetables,
fruits, and whole grains in your meals helps your body stay energized and strong. Replacing
sugary drinks with water also improves your skin and keeps you hydrated. Second, daily
movement is key. Whether it’s going for a walk, dancing to your favorite playlist, or hitting the
gym, regular exercise boosts your mood and keeps your heart happy. Another important habit is
getting enough sleep. Around 7 to 8 hours each night helps your brain focus and your body
recover. Finally, don’t forget to take care of your mental health — read, journal, or just breathe
deeply when things feel heavy. In short, a healthy life isn’t about perfection, but about choosing
what makes you feel good and grow better each day.

Topic 3: Write a paragraph about some things you can do to get in shape
(Are there many ways to keep fit? What should we do? Why? Give some examples)
Getting in shape is an important part of living a healthy and balanced life. There are many simple
ways to keep fit, and you don’t need to be an athlete to start. For example, regular physical
activity — such as jogging, riding a bike, or even walking around your neighborhood — can
improve your heart health and boost your energy. Moreover, joining a fitness class or playing a
sport makes working out fun and helps build a consistent routine. In addition to exercise, eating a
balanced diet is essential. Choosing fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins instead of fast food
can give your body the fuel it needs. Drinking plenty of water and sleeping at least seven hours
each night also supports recovery and strength. Most importantly, staying fit takes time and
patience. It’s not about looking perfect, but about feeling good, staying strong, and making
choices that help you grow every day.
Topic 4: Write about your favourite food or drink.
(You should write about: What the food or drink is, How it is made, and explain why it is your
favourite food, etc.)
My Favourite Food
My favourite food is avocado, a nutritious and delicious fruit that I enjoy eating in many
different ways. Avocado can be eaten raw, spread on toast, mixed into salads, or blended into
smoothies. It is soft, creamy, and has a rich taste that goes well with both sweet and savory
dishes. To prepare a simple avocado toast, I usually cut the avocado in half, remove the seed,
scoop out the flesh, and mash it with a bit of salt and lemon juice. Then, I spread it on a slice of
whole grain bread and add toppings like eggs or tomatoes.
One reason why I love avocado is because it is very healthy. It is rich in vitamins, fiber, and
healthy fats that are good for the heart and skin. In addition, it keeps me full for a long time,
which helps me focus better at school. Another reason is that avocado is easy and quick to
prepare, especially when I don’t have much time.
In conclusion, avocado is my favourite food because it is tasty, healthy, and convenient to eat in
many ways.
Topic 5: Your favourite place to eat out.
(You can write about
where it is,
what kind of food it serves,
what the place is like,
why it is your favourite place to eat out, etc.)
The paragraph needs to have a topic sentence, supporting ideas and examples/ explanation.

One of my favourite places to eat out is a cozy little restaurant called Olive Garden, located just
a few blocks from my house. It serves delicious Italian food, including pasta, pizza, and their
famous breadsticks. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with soft lighting, friendly staff, and
Italian music playing in the background. What makes Olive Garden my favourite place to eat is
not just the food, but the overall experience. For example, their creamy Alfredo pasta and
chicken parmigiana are always cooked perfectly, and the unlimited soup and salad make the meal
feel extra satisfying. I also love going there with family and friends because the seating is
comfortable and the service is always quick and polite. Whether I’m celebrating a birthday or
just grabbing dinner after a long day, Olive Garden always feels like a treat. It’s a perfect mix of
great food, comfort, and hospitality.

Topic 6: Write about some popular types of entertainment in 21st century.

(You can write What are they? Who often do them? Where could people do them? Why do people
do them?...)

In the 21st century, entertainment has become more diverse and accessible than ever
before. One of the most popular forms is watching movies or TV shows on streaming platforms
such as Netflix or Disney+. People of all ages enjoy this activity because it is convenient and can
be done at home. Another common type of entertainment is playing video games, especially
among teenagers and young adults. They often play at home or in gaming centers to relax or
connect with friends online. Moreover, social media and content creation on platforms like
YouTube or TikTok are very trendy nowadays. Many people spend hours watching or making
videos to express themselves and gain popularity. Additionally, attending live concerts or sports
events remains a favorite activity, especially among music and sports fans. In short, modern
entertainment reflects the fast-paced, digital lifestyle of today’s society, offering people various
ways to enjoy their free time and reduce stress.

Topic 7: Write about effects of natural disasters and ways to prevent them.
(You can write What types of natural disasters are there? What are the effects of each type of
natural disasters? What should human do to prevent them? ...)
Using the noun phrases as the subject of the sentences

The destructive effects of hurricanes have a major impact on both human life and the
environment. The strong winds and heavy rains from hurricanes often damage houses,
uproot trees, and cut off electricity. For example, the flooding caused by hurricanes can destroy
crops, roads, and water systems, leaving people without food and clean water. The dangerous
waves and rising sea levels during hurricanes also threaten coastal areas and force people to
evacuate their homes. To reduce these impacts, the early warning systems for hurricanes help
warn people in advance. The construction of strong buildings and flood defenses can protect
communities from damage. In addition, the education of citizens about emergency plans
prepares them to act quickly and safely. The cooperation between local governments and
international aid organizations is also important for disaster response and recovery.
Topic 8: Write a paragraph about some things you can do to prevent crime (such as robbery,
burglary or theft) in big cities.
(Is it important to know about how to keep us safe from crime in big cities? What can you do to
prevent crime? Why? Give some examples)
Knowing how to stay safe from crime in big cities is very important for everyone. One thing
we can do to prevent crime is being aware of our surroundings, especially in crowded or dark
areas. For example, people should avoid using their phones while walking alone at night because
it can make them an easy target for thieves. Another helpful action is locking doors and
windows at home and installing security systems like cameras or alarms. These tools can scare
away burglars and help police find criminals. In addition, reporting any suspicious activity to
the police helps protect not just ourselves but also our communities. Joining neighborhood
watch programs is also a good idea because it builds strong relationships and teamwork. By
taking these small steps, we can help make big cities safer places to live.

Topic 9
Have you ever found something that some else had lost?
 Describe a time you found something that someone lost
 Where did you find?
 What did you do ?
(The paragraph should have the topic sentence, supporting ideas (details), and concluding
sentence.)
One day, I found a wallet that someone had lost in a city park, and it became a memorable
experience. While I was walking near a bench, I noticed a brown leather wallet lying on the
ground. Curious, I picked it up and saw that it contained money, credit cards, and a student ID
card. I realized that the owner must be very worried about losing it. Instead of ignoring it, I
decided to help. I went to the security office near the entrance of the park and handed it over. The
officer thanked me and contacted the school listed on the ID card. Later, I learned that the wallet
was returned to its owner. This small act made me feel proud because I did something kind
and helpful. Returning lost items not only helps others but also shows that honesty and
responsibility are important values in our daily lives.
Topic 10: harmful effects of fast food consumption
(You can write about why people like eating fast food, its bad effects on mental and physical
health, some solutions to solve the problems, etc.)

Fast food may be convenient and tasty, but its long-term consumption can seriously harm
both physical and mental health. Many people enjoy fast food because it is cheap, quick, and
easily available. However, eating it too often can lead to health problems such as obesity, heart
disease, and high blood pressure due to its high levels of fat, sugar, and salt. In addition, studies
have shown that eating too much fast food may also increase the risk of depression and anxiety.
Fast food lacks essential nutrients like vitamins and fiber, which the body needs to stay healthy.
To solve this issue, people can try cooking more meals at home and choosing healthier snacks.
Schools and communities should also promote better food education. In conclusion, while fast
food might be convenient, reducing its consumption is important for living a healthier and
happier life.

Topic 11: the rise of K-pop as a popular culture among youth

(You can write about how popular K-pop is, how K-pop influences the young, reasons people
love K-pop, etc.)
The paragraph needs to have a topic sentence, supporting ideas, examples/ explanation.

K-pop has become a powerful force in global youth culture, capturing the hearts of millions
of young people around the world. Known for its catchy music, impressive choreography, and
visually stunning music videos, K-pop offers a unique blend of entertainment that appeals to
many. Groups like BTS, BLACKPINK, and EXO have gained massive international fan bases,
inspiring young people with their talent, fashion, and positive messages. K-pop idols are often
admired for their dedication and hard work, motivating fans to pursue their own dreams. Social
media also plays a huge role in the spread of K-pop, allowing fans to connect with idols and each
other, creating strong global communities. Beyond music, K-pop has influenced fashion,
language learning (especially Korean), and lifestyle trends. Overall, the rise of K-pop reflects
how music can cross borders and deeply influence youth by promoting creativity,
connection, and cultural exchange.
Topic 12: Describe a good law in your country.
(You should write about: What the law is, How you came to know about this law, Whom it
affects, Why it is good)
One of the most beneficial laws in my country is the law that bans smoking in public places.
I first learned about this law through a news report and later saw signs in restaurants, bus stops,
and shopping malls. This law affects both smokers and non-smokers. Smokers are required to
smoke only in designated areas, while non-smokers benefit by being protected from secondhand
smoke, which is known to be harmful. The law helps create a healthier environment, especially
for children, the elderly, and people with respiratory issues. It also encourages smokers to cut
down or quit since smoking is no longer as convenient. For example, now when I go to a café or
public park, the air is clean and fresh. This law is good because it protects public health and
promotes better habits in society.

Topic 13:
• Think about the last time you went sightseeing, or visited somewhere new. Write an
online review of one of the places you visited, e.g. a restaurant, a museum, or a
tourist attraction. Say what you expected the place to be like before you visited.
 Describe what it was actually like.
 Say if you would recommend visiting this place.
Use adverbs of attitude like surprisingly or clearly....... to explain your thoughts and feelings
One of the most meaningful places I visited in Vietnam was the War Remnants Museum in
Ho Chi Minh City. I had expected it to be a small museum with a few old war artifacts, but it
turned out to be a deeply moving and eye-opening experience. The museum features powerful
exhibits about the Vietnam War, including emotional photographs, personal stories, and displays
of military equipment like tanks and planes. Surprisingly, the section on the effects of Agent
Orange left the strongest impression on me—it showed how the war still affects people today.
The stories of survivors and journalists added a very human perspective to the historical events.
Clearly, the museum’s goal is not just to inform, but to make people reflect on the cost of
conflict. I would highly recommend visiting this museum, as it offers both historical insight and
a powerful emotional journey.
