 Internship Schedule

Work Logistics
The internship lasts for at least 3 months, 15-20 hours per week. If you have a school issue for a
day or a few days, you can take training time off and make up for it later. Overall, your working
schedule can be ready, we support remote working mode for all our internship opportunities
no matter what fields or tracks.
For some projects you will work in pairs.
Offsite internships take place on Microsoft teams or WeChat. Download Microsoft teams if you
don’t have WeChat. The expe to work on weekends or weekdays specifically, but I must finish
tasks by the end of the day and work consistently to maintain relatively even hours throughout
the week. Since my co cted working hours are 15-20 hours per week for at least three months.
There is no requirement lleagues and manager will likely not be working during the weekends, I
should aim to work during weekdays for better communication with them. My working
schedule should be steady and transparent so that my manager knows what to expect from me.

Pay
Remote Internship: You are welcome to apply for our remote internship. All remote internships
are unpaid.

Onsite Paid Internship: This requires you to be residing in Chicago, Iowa, or Shanghai at the
time of your application. Onsite internships are offered only 1 month after you have shown
your commitment through the online remote program. If you are invited to do the onsite
internship, the pay is 1000 per month.

Weekly Investor Research and Outreach Task

All finance interns are expected to complete a weekly research project
 In this project, you will prepare for investment projects and reach out to investors
regarding the projects’ information. More detailed information will be provided during
the internship.

· Implement and create visual identity (VI) for various investment projects.
· Utilize Adobe InDesign to create websites and investment project memorandum.

IT/Programming Internship
· Update company software such Ano, ND basic scripts.

There will also be various opportunities to take part in and engage with projects outside these
areas as and when such projects become available. (Note: Project areas with (*) are assigned
according to the academic background and abilities of the individual intern.)

Personal Development
There are specific technical and functional skills that are important to acquire and develop to be
successful in the global environment. Here are the top four skills:

· The ability to be informed about the industry, on both the formal and informal including
where the power is in each industry.
· The ability to take moderate risks and take a step forward in an unfamiliar situation.

Question or confusion about a quiz question?

This training is a learning experience, try your best to understand the materials and learn what
you can to prepare yourself for the internship. The purpose of the quiz is to test your
understanding of our business model and terminology and your ability to process information
and complete the task. It can sometimes be a bit tough but just try hard and show us your
capacity.

On the Topic of Employment Post-Internship:
While we do make hires, it's essential to note that the primary objective of our internship is to
provide you with an opportunity to learn and gain valuable experience, so post-internship
employment should not be expected during the stage of internship.

What different between Greentree and Springer?

Greentree specializes in asset management in China, while Springer offers financial advisory
services in the USA. They are related companies, likely through shared ownership or
partnership.

NETWORK/SOFTWARE ENGINEERING/IT INTERNSHIP FAQ

What are my options?
You can either do NE or SWE or both for your internship.
What will I do as a networking intern?
As NE, you will work on proxmox, servers, backup solutions, remote management, virtual
machines, Microsoft admin azure directory projects.
What will I do as a software intern?
For SWE, you will work on Microsoft power automate, python programming for suite CRM,
suiter admin and management, and Microsoft 365/azure directory projects.
The quizzes are challenging, and I’m stuck, what should I do?
The quizzes and content can be hard. Do what you can and continue to work through the
material and submit the quiz. You will work on projects appropriate to your level once you
finish all 3 quizzes so don’t get stuck training on one question and stop moving forward.

FINANCE INTERNSHIP FAQ

What are my options for business units?1
Once you join, you will have the choice to choose which business unit: APAC Equity(investors),
US Credit(lenders), US Sponsors(developers), US property, or China investment.
Will I have different quizzes for each role?

We have various roles for different finance interns, however, there are only 3 quizzes (1, 2, 3)
regardless of the position.
How will the internship be?
You will start out with basic work such as researching relationships, classifying what they do
and adding them to the CRM. Then you will email them with the opportunity or the acquisition
requirement. Assuming you have a strong understanding, then you will work on analyzing new
projects and creating investment materials. This includes basic financial analysis and complex
financial modelling. So, it's up to you if you will work on beginner/intermediate projects or
more advanced projects.
Most interns find it super interesting to gain exposure to financial terminology, how the
different business units work, and how to communicate with investors or sellers. For those that
already have this skillset, you will work on analysis.

ESG INTERNSHIP FAQ

Will I be able to learn about climate change and sustainability?
We are a finance and investment company who plan to install solar panels, heat pumps and other
equipment into our real estate projects. You will not be learning how to save the planet. You will not be
learning how government, sustainability, or policy connects to ESG.

What will I be learning in this internship?

You will be learning the different components of these renewable energy systems at a technical
level and then communicating with various vendors to implement the purchase of their
equipment and services. You will also have the chance to work on investment projects related
to our core business if you choose to focus on finance. You can do the above renewable energy
projects, finance, or both.

How much financial background is required?

ESG interns who work on finance projects will be assigned projects suitable to their skills and
passion. If you are excellent and passionate about ESG work, you don’t have to/won't be
assigned finance work. It's up to you. If you are a beginner and want to learn finance work, you
will start at the basics with things like research and learning finance terms, organizing data, etc.
If you can learn the concepts quickly and/or have some experience, you will be given advanced
finance-related projects. It all depends on your ability.

ACCOUNTING INTERNSHIP FAQ
The quizzes are challenging, and I’m stuck, what should I do?
This is the hardest internship we have in terms of the comp. The training is super hard. The
materials are quite intense. Try your best and don’t get stuck, make progress and continue to
submit the quizzes and excel submissions (1 after quiz 2 and 1 after quiz 3).
If you aren’t interested in accounting, this will be a hard internship for you

What Will I learn?

You will gain a lot of experience with excel and you will learn how a company goes from 1
transaction into the balance sheet and how we process that transaction. You should have
strong patience, and willingness to organize excel data that might take a few hours per sheet.

What will I be doing?

During the internship, you will get accounting data, classify the transactions, arrange the data
into a format that can be connected to accounting software, calculate interest due on loans,
and calculate amortization on assets. Each bank account takes 3 to 4 days from start to finish.
You will not be analyzing balance sheets for investment purposes (even though we are an
investment company). You will be preparing and classifying transactions into charts of
accounts.
The training is hard. Once you finish all 3 quizzes and submit the 2 excels, you will get
mentorship, so keep going if this material is interesting!!

MARKETING INTERNSHIP
What will I do as a Marketing intern?
Some of your tasks will be done in HubSpot where you will be entering, updating, and
organizing information that your teams will be utilizing, but you’ll be assigned work as needed.
You will overall be supporting the effort to help organizations utilize their workforce equitably
and inclusively to their fullest potential.

What will I be learning in this internship?

You will be learning different strategies behind data management as well as the background
goings of how companies work with the diversity of their workforce. You will also be getting
hands on experience with industry used programs like Hubspot during your time.

I’m stuck on a quiz question or the quiz is difficult, what do I do?
The quiz is designed to test your knowledge on the industry and get an understanding of what
you know. Do your best to finish the quiz to your best knowledge and should you enter the
internship, more training will be provided.
