The board of Andhra Pradesh intermediate education was established in the year 1971. The advance feature of Andhra Pradesh board is that it's the first to adopt the 10 + 2 + 3 (up to graduation) pattern of education. The board of Andhra Pradesh is working towards the vision of world class education in the state. The Andhra Pradesh Board is continuously working for the improvement of the education system in the state through quality leadership and services. The examination and Andhra Pradesh Board Syllabus is specified below- Board exams conducted twice every year by Andhra Pradesh board. 1. Annual examination (March/April) 2. The supplementary examination (June/July) With the payment of only 100 rupees the student can apply for the recounting of their paper and Xerox and re-verification of the answer book would be supplied on the payment of only rupees 600 per paper.. The student is going through the following exam pattern through two years. For Arts group: 1. For 1st year 500 marks 2. For 2nd year 500 marks For physics, chemistry and math group (PCM) 1st year 470 marks 2nd year 530 marks For Biology, physics, chemistry group (BPC) 1st year 440 marks 2nd year 560 marks 35% marks are necessary to pass the examinations. For the 1st and 2nd year AP Board Syllabus: This includes three groups 1. Languages 2. Sciences 3. Humanities Languages: Part 1 English Part 2 Oria, Hindi, Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, French, Tamil, Telugu Part 3 Telugu, English, Urdu, Hindi Sciences: Zoology, Mathematics IA, Mathematics IB, Chemistry Humanities: Commerce, Civics, History, Economics, Psychology Syllabus for AP Board of intermediate education includes only two subjects of education names Humanities and sciences. The another subject commerce is not considered as the third and different stream besides that its included as a subject under humanities stream.
