POSTER WRITING
A poster is a simple yet effective communication tool which can be used to publicise an event, a product or an idea.
It communicates with the target section of the public instantly and effectively.
A poster should be visually attractive to ensure that it grabs attention.
It should have a proper layout, a clear structure, large fonts and quality graphics which are relevant to the subject.
Graphics should be used wisely to ensure that the right information is highlighted.
A poster must not include too much text. Avoid overload of information. Keep blank spaces and maintain clarity.
The highlight or the title of a poster should have a lot of emphasis.
A confident and conversational style is the best method to convey a message in a poster.
A poster should not reflect a passive attitude while delivering information. Persuade your target sections to think, react and
compare.
