You know what, in the last seconds of the video, I exclaimed "Wow that's good," because I
remember again the part of me and action of mine in the past. I love to reminisce about my past
moments and hearing you mention about what did I learn during my high school days, what kind
of group I'm always in, what is my impressions about the recent movie i watched, realizations
and more. In high school days, I grew fond of English Teachers, I love their knowledge and
ability to speak well. There is this one teacher who inspired me to take my college program. She
lectures about Philippines Politics and Governance, in our every subject meeting, she would call
one student to share the written news that the student wrote. Whereas we need to watch late
night news and write it in our notebook and she will pick a one to let that student discuss the
news. She will ask a question to us "What is your opinion about that? Raise your hand." Isn't
that great? Not only the students became aware of what's happening in the surroundings, we
will, I will remember that introducing that activity will have an impact on our political stances.
Every now and then, I carry it with me, I decided to take BPA as my college course,
remembering what I learned from her. Let me tell you about my experience as a active leader in
group activities—leading is hard when your members don't cooperate and would rather
procrastinate the task instead of doing it in free time. However, I have a strong will, I will talk
back to them, I will drop a reason why we must start in early time to avoid rushed work. Most of
my members tend to describe me as "Moody," "Attitude," especially the "Maarte." I don't like to
defend myself on what opinions they have on me because all I care is for our group to have a
high grade and ensure a smooth flow of performance, be it writing or projects.
Furthermore, the last movie I watched was "But I'm a Cheerleader," a highly recommended
movie. A queer movie where the main character sexuality is treated as an illness and she got
sent to counselling session to turn into straight girl but actually she's a closeted one and haven't
made up her mind about her being gay. She keep saying she's normal but as she go on with the
counselling session with the other attendees, she develops a feelings for another girl. This
movie is presents how the society treat queer people differently and would always like to
associate it with religion. Honestly, i feel bad because the session tortured them so much and I
cried throughout the movie, hetero norms were pushed towards them even though they clearly
shows disapproval. The parents actually sent them over to be fixed but in the end they didn't,
because in the first place there's nothing wrong with them.
Recently i joined an organization, and guess what? I FEEL HAPPY! this is my first step to
discover what
