In the 4th step, you will design a plan detailing the activities and strategies that will lead
you to
achieve your goals.
Include all the following information:
- Products and services: Based on your third step, describe production and manufacturing
costs, relevant patents/proprietary technology. What else do you need to put your project
in practice? Is your project legal? Do you foresee any legal/political conflict generated by
your project? If so, how do you imagine you can mitigate it?
- Market strategy: Based on steps 1 and 2, you know where your project fits in. Now,
explain how you plan to capture market share from competitors. How will you attract and
retain customers? Will you invest in advertising and marketing campaigns? How so? Do
not focus only on social media. Be creative.
Include distribution channels that you’ll use. Who are the businesses or intermediaries
necessary to make your product/service delivered to the final consumers?
- Financial plans and projections: Provide financial targets and estimates for the first
few years. Include funding requests and how you expect your project to generate
revenuers and/or profit.
