Motion: Change of position of a body with respect to time.
Types of motion:
Translational (straight-line)
Rotational (about an axis)
Oscillatory (to and fro about a mean position)
Key Quantities:
Distance (d): Total path covered (scalar).
Displacement (s): Shortest straight-line from start to end (vector).
Speed (v): Distance ÷ Time (scalar).
Velocity (v): Displacement ÷ Time (vector).
Acceleration (a): Rate of change of velocity.
