1.0 Introduction to Emergencies
Emergencies like fires or earthquakes can happen suddenly in any building. Having an
emergency evacuation plan is important to keep everyone safe. This report gives a step-by-
step evacuation plan for Block V1, to help people get from anywhere in the building to the
assembly points safely. The plan includes instructions to follow during an evacuation.
2.0 Evacuation Procedures
The evacuation plan for Block V1 is organized to help everyone leave the building safely and
quickly.
1. Alarm Activation: When an emergency is detected, the fire alarm will sound. This is
the signal for everyone to start evacuating.
2. Evacuation Instructions: People should leave their rooms right away and follow the
marked evacuation routes throughout the building.
3. Stairwell Use: Always use the stairs, not the elevators, during an evacuation. Stairwell
A is the main exit route, and Stairwell B is the backup.
4. Reaching the Assembly Point: Follow the evacuation signs to the assembly point,
which is outside and in front of the building, on the Futsal Court.
5. Headcount and Accountability: Once everyone is at the assembly point, Floor Leaders
or the Block Leader will count heads to make sure everyone is safe.
3.0 Fire Hazard Controls
Block V1 has several fire safety features to help prevent or control fires:
Sprinkler System: Automatic sprinklers are installed throughout the building to control fires.
Fire Extinguishers: Fire extinguishers are placed in important spots, like near exits and in
areas with higher fire risk.
Emergency Lighting: Emergency lights help people find their way if it’s dark, especially in
hallways and stairwells.
These systems are checked and maintained regularly to keep them in good working condition.
4.0 Fire Emergency Exits
Block V1 has several fire emergency exits to allow a quick and safe evacuation. The main
exits are located in front of the building. Each floor has clear signs that guide people to the
nearest exits. Everyone should know where the closest exit and stairwell are in case of an
emergency.
5.0 Building Evacuation Plan

5.2 Assembly Point
After leaving the building, everyone should go to the assembly point at the Futsal Court. This
spot is far enough from the building to stay safe from any hazards.
6.0 Assembly Point
The assembly point for Block V1 is just outside the building. It’s easy to reach from all
evacuation routes and has enough space for everyone to gather safely. Once everyone is there,
Block Leader will count people to make sure nobody is missing.
7.0 Conclusion
This evacuation plan for Block V1 is designed to keep everyone safe in an emergency.
Regular drills, clear signs, and following these procedures will help reduce risks and make
evacuations faster. It’s important for everyone to know this plan and take part in practice
drills.
