GENERAL NOTES

• All walls are 230mm thick unless otherwise specified.

• All dimensions are in millimeters unless otherwise stated.

• Contractor must verify all dimensions on site before execution.

• Structural and engineering drawings supersede architectural dimensions.

• Do not scale from drawings – use figured dimensions only.

• All work shall comply with local building codes and regulations.

• Ensure proper ventilation and lighting in all habitable rooms.

• Provide adequate waterproofing in all wet areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, and
balconies.

• All electrical, mechanical, and plumbing works must be concealed and coordinated with
respective consultants.

• Floor finishes in wet areas must slope gently towards floor drains, ensuring proper water
discharge.

• Waterproof membrane must be applied under all wet area finishes as per manufacturer's
recommendations.

• Only approved materials of high quality shall be used throughout the project.

• All aluminum and glazing works must comply with safety and wind load standards.

• Any discrepancies between drawings and site conditions must be reported immediately.

• Contractor must submit shop drawings for critical components before fabrication.

• All finishes must be done plumb, level, and true to line.

• Fire safety provisions shall conform to national building fire codes.

• All edges and openings must be protected during construction.

• Contractor shall coordinate and allow for all embedded items, sleeves, and conduits.

• It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure structural stability during all phases of work.

• These notes form part of the construction documentation and must be read in conjunction
with all relevant drawings and specifications.
