Prospective candidates, who aspire to join as a Clerk in SBI, can apply after carefully reading the
advertisement regarding eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of application fee,
issuance of call letters, process & pattern of examinations/ Local Language

Eligibility Criteria

1. Citizenship: Candidates must be citizens of India.


2. Age Criteria: The candidate must be 20 years to 28 years. Age
relaxation is provided to candidates from reserved categories.
3. Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have a graduation degree in any discipline
from a university recognized by the Central Government. Candidates who are in the final year
or semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally.
4. Local Language Proficiency Test: Provisionally selected candidates not having studied (in
class 10th or 12th) any of the specified local language of the State applied, will have to appear
in Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).

MAINS EXAMINATION
The clerk mains exam tests candidates on General/Financial Awareness, General English,
Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. A total of 190 questions are
asked for 200 marks. The exam followed a negative marking scheme, with one-fourth of the marks
deducted for each wrong answer.
