Title: “SUNSHINE AFTER THE STORM”
INTERPRETATION:
We have gained 5 different interpretations on our group discussion:
● First, madilim na panaginip, tapos yung yellow yung pinto.
It's like, in the midst of the crowd, I dont see nobody
but you. Like nag i-stand out yung isang tao na yun para sayo for some reasons.
Kasi for you maybe iba sya compare sa iba, and nagbibigay sya sayo ng hope
that's make that person shine and unique sya for you sa stereotype na mundong
ito. For example, yung black yung mga everyone else then yung dilaw naman
yung crush mo, or pwede rin yung core memories mo in life or anything that
make you, help you, inspire you to move forward.
● Next the third one, yung black yung 99 problems tas yung yellow naman yung 1
solution, tas equal po nun 100.
Just like this black Cartolina.
maliit nakalagay dyan, iisipin agad natin "bakit may ganyan yan? diba dapat full
marumi". And ganun din po sa life, maraming tao or kahit tayo mismo, minsan
knowing the full story behind that one mistake.
● Lastly, lt's like a sun set sa Minecraft. Kasi pa box yung yellow and
ANALYSIS:
At first, it might not seem like much. But it means a lot. The black part stands for the
dark times in life — problems, pain, and all the moments we feel lost or invisible.
Sometimes, it feels like everything is heavy, or like people only see our mistakes.
But then there’s this one yellow square. It’s small, but it shines. It can be a person, a
memory, a dream — anything that gives us hope. It reminds us that even in the middle
of darkness, there’s always something or someone that helps us keep going. It may be
tiny, but sometimes, that’s all we need — one reason to move forward.
With the help of these interpretations, we have concluded that this artwork symbolizes
HOPE. A hope that lights up the darkness, even if it conquers only a small part of the
surroundings. That little bit of light shines through and makes everything worthwhile.
And so, we have decided to name this piece “Sunshine After the Storm”. Just like
sunshine, it brings joy, peace, and hope to each one of us after the heavy, dark storm
we all face. It’s normal to feel lost or uncertain as we walk through dark paths, but just
like sunshine, hope will always shine within each of us, no matter how challenging the
journey might seem.
So, this piece is a reminder: There will always be a light that will shine out of the
darkness
