FINAL TASK – SEQUENCE 3 ACT OUT A QUESTIONING AT SCOTLAND YARD

Scene: Scotland Yard, interrogation room

Detective: Hello. What is your name?

Suspect: My name is William Turner.

Detective: Where were you last night at 9 p.m.?

Suspect: I was at home. I was watching a movie with my sister.

Detective: Witnesses saw you near the museum. Can you explain that?

Suspect: I walked my dog around the park, near the museum. I didn’t go inside.

Detective: Are you sure about that? Cameras show a man in a red jacket.

Suspect: Yes, I am sure. I just passed by. I didn’t stop.

Detective: What time did you leave your house?

Suspect: Around 8:30 p.m. I was back home by 9:15 p.m.

Detective: Do you know Mr. Higgins, the museum curator?

Suspect: Yes, I know him. We used to be friends, but we argued.

Detective: Why did you argue?

Suspect: He owed me money. I was angry, but I didn’t do anything.

Detective: Do you have any proof you were at home?

Suspect: My sister was with me. She can confirm it.

Detective: Alright. We will talk to her. Please stay available.
