One of the goals of Education is to provide quality Education and evident


Teaching learning experiences.
In this connection, pursuant to CHED memorandum no. 63, s. 2017 (Policies
and Guidelines on local off-campus activities). Mary the Queen College of Quezon
City will be holding a 2N3D (2 nights and 3 days) Educational tour in Baguio
City on the following dates: batch 1, BS. Education, BS. Administration,
BS. Accountancy and BS. Criminology November 17, 18 and 19 (Sun. Mon.
Tues). batch 2, BS. Information Technology, BS. Hospitality Management
and BS. Psychology November 21, 22, and 23 (Thurs. Fri. Sat) This
meaningful tour aims the following.

1. November 16, 2024 (Saturday)
9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. – Assembly time – MQCQC campus
11:00 p.m. – 12:00mid. – Expected time of departure
2. November 17, 2024 (Sunday)
Day 1
 Arrival in Baguio City
 Check in - Check-in at the hotel or accommodation (upon the availability for early check-in at Ion
Hotel)
 Welcome Briefing
 Overview of the itinerary.
 Introduction to local customs, safety guidelines, and cultural etiquette.
 City Tour Visit the Mansion, Wright Park, Mine View Park, Botanical Garden
 Visit to the Baguio City Library
 Activities:
 Tour the library and meet with the library staff.
 Learn about library management and resources.
 Participate in a workshop on utilizing library resources for educational purposes.
 Lunch at the Hotel
 Afternoon:
 Visit to Baguio Central School
 Activities:
 Observe a class or interact with the faculty.
 Discuss current educational practices and school administration with the principal or teachers.

 Continuation of City Tour
 Visit Strawberry Farm, Bell Church
 Team-building Activity

 Evening Tour: Night Market
 - Visit the Baguio Night Market to experience local commerce and food culture.

Day 3 November 19, 2024 (Tuesday)
 Morning: After breakfast at the Hotel and check out procedure
 Visit to a Local Cultural Heritage Site
 Explore a heritage site such as the Tam-Awan Village or the Baguio Cathedral.
 Learn about the cultural significance and historical context.
 2. Lunch
 Local restaurant
 Afternoon:
 Visit to the Baguio Public Market
 Activities:
 Explore local goods and produce.
 Discuss how local economic activities and entrepreneurship can be incorporated into the
curriculum.

 Allow students some free time to explore Baguio City’s attractions or engage in self-guided
tours.
 Evening:
 Farewell Early Dinner (Acquaintance party)
 Group dinner at a special restaurant to celebrate the conclusion of the tour.

3. Things to remember
Pack light and bring necessary things only.

Prepare 2 minutes talent from each group
Dance contest (5 to 8 representatives from each department)

4. Deadline of payment will be on November 10, 20224 (Saturday). To secure more


comfortable sits and room accommodation kindly settle your payment on or before
the date mentioned above. First come first serve basis.
5. Strictly submit your waiver signed by your parents on or before the day of the trip to
your respective representatives.
6. Submit medical certificate/fit to travel certificate for those students who have a
medical condition.
7. All kinds of alcoholic drinks, cigarettes/vapes, knives and illegal drugs are strictly
prohibited. Nuisance students will be dealt accordingly.
8. Pets are not allowed
9. Parents/guardians are allowed provided with the same process.
10. No refund policy.
