To our Public Schools District Supervisor, Mr.

Jimmy F Duropan; the School Head In-charge of this

event, Mr. Rodelio P. Mateo, to the active District Science Coordinator, Mrs. Aurora A. Mateo, schools Heads of
the different schools, highly respected teachers, parents, pupils, Ladies and Gentlemen, a pleasant morning!

According to an American theoretical physicist, mathematician, and string theorist,

”Science is away of life. Science is a perspective. Science is the process that takes us from
confusion to understanding in a manner that's precise, predictive and reliable - a
transformation, for those lucky enough to experience it, that is empowering and emotional.”
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the “SCIENCE SEPTEMBER FIESTA, bearing the theme,
ADVANCING SCIENCE FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE”

Today we will witness exciting competitions that we will definitely give life to the
celebration. Without further ado, let us all stand for the singing of the National Anthem,
Division Hymn, Municipal Hymn, and a prayer through a canned video.

(VIDEO OF PAMBANSANG AWIT, DIVISION HYMN, MUNCIPAL HYMN, PRAYER)

And now, to officially open our event and welcome us all, we would like to call on our
respected School Principal I of Marcos Central Elementary School, Mrs. Remedios P. Bayudan.
A round of applause please.

(Mrs. Remedios P. Bayudan delivers the welcome remarks.)

Science, technology have become such integral parts of society that scientists can no
longer isolate themselves from societal concerns. Scientists are increasingly called upon to
contribute to public policy and to the public understanding of science. They play an important
role in educating nonscientists about the content and processes of science. We teachers are also
the scientist in our classroom and outside of our classroom.
And to get us in the spirit of science, let us all welcome the science coordinators together
with their adviser the School Principal I of Marcos Central Elementary School, Mrs. Remedios
P. Bayudan in their SCI-YAW presentation. A round of applause please.
(AVP Presentation is played.)
Wow, that was so intense. You really are good dancers.

At this point in our program, we are honored to have someone with us who has
consistently provided support and guidance to our schools, helping to shape the educational
landscape within our district. He is a true advocate for quality education, ensuring that our
schools are not only places for learning but also for personal and community development.

To give us his message, let us all welcome our very own the Public Schools District
Supervisor, Mr. Jimmy F. Dorupan. Sir,

(The PSDS, Mr./Ms. Jimmy F. Dorupan, delivers the message.)

Thank you very much sir, for that insightful and inspiring message. Your leadership
continues to motivate us all to strive for excellence in education.
Now, to explain the guidelines and mechanics of the contest, May we call on Mrs. Aurora
A. Mateo, our District Science Coordinator.
(Mrs. Aurora A. Mateo explains the contest guidelines.)

And now, the moment we have all been waiting for – the contest proper! Participants,
prepare yourselves for an engaging competition!
May I also request the coordinators of each school to please come in front for the draw
lots of numbers.
