So move to the next part i’m gonna discuss about the key to improve our
environment_slogan. Clearly,environmental problems have gone from bad to
worse by times and, therefore, we need to find out solutions that we can work on
now to change our collective future for the better!
As TL mentioned above there are 4 major threats to our environment, which are
air, water, soil polution and climate change. So I’m gonna stick to these issues and
hold out some solutions base on each situation.
1. Air Pollution Solutions ( the air surrounding us is crucial – breath in – if it’s bad,
our heath will be in the same condition – take actions now – really do sth for
it)
Limit your time on the road. Vehicle emissions are responsible for most of the
dirty air that’s found in cities and communities around the world.
Help plant trees. You can plant native tree species in your own town to help
clean the air.
Contribute to rainforest reforestation projects that aim to help strengthen the
world’s clean air and biodiversity.
Choose reusable items and avoid using plastics as much as possible.
Manufacturing single-use items contribute a lot to air pollution.
Reducing dependence on fossil fuels will go the farthest in clearing the air
around the world.
2. Water Pollution Solutions (water is one of the most important resources in our
life survive nurture plants…)
o Wastewater Treatment
Likely the most effective way to reduce water pollution is by treating some of the
water before it’s reintroduced into the waterways. This is a highly effective
solution because wastewater treatment facilities are able to remove nearly all
pollutants in wastewater via a chemical, physical, or biological process. Sewage
will be taken through several chambers of the facility to slowly reduce its toxicity
levels.
o Adjust lifstyle
Conserve water There are many ways that you can conserve water on a daily
basis. Whenever you’re shaving or brushing your teeth, it’s recommended that
you keep the water turned off.
Use the minimum amount of detergent and/or bleach when you are washing
clothes or dishes. Use only phosphate free soaps and detergents.
o Cut down on chemicals and use environmentally friendly or organic
fertilizers and pesticides
3. Soil polution – damaged by … and gradually lose its fertility
SOLUTIONS TO REDUCE SOIL POLLUTION
Encourage a more eco-friendly model for industry, farming and stock breeding,
among other economic activities. Improve urban planning and transport planning
and waste water treatment
Minimize the use of plastics: Plastics and polythene bags deplete soil fertility.
You can minimize the amount of trash you are throwing out by reusing and
recycling. And avoid littering. Throw your trash in the trash can or recycling bin
Creating awareness. Involve local communities and indigenous peoples in
the design, implementation and assessment of sustainable land and soil
management.
4. Here are a few things we can do to help combat climate change.( hot potato
since this concept appear, relentlessly find solutions)
Drive less often and less far use public transportation to help decrease your
carbon footprint.
Reuse things instead of throwing them away
Aim for zero waste Choose to invest your money in things that will last a long
time and can be reused or upcycled instead of thrown away.
