Visualizations
Visualizations (known as visuals for short) display insights that have been discovered in the data. A Power BI report might have a single page with one visual or it might have pages full of visuals

Project 2 – Sales Dashboard
• Import data from a folder containing multiple excel file into Power BI and compile them in the PB application - Extract
• Import the mapping file from the excel sheet (i.e. Product Mapping, Region Mapping, Category Mapping, Currency Table and Period Table) - Extract
• Validate the field and data type for all the tables – Transformation
• Load the date into the report window - Loading
• Create a relationship between all the tables – Modelling
• Create a new Table named as “SD_Calendar” for Order Date and Link this table to a SD_SalesData Tbl - Modelling
• Import a theme using switch theme option in Power BI – View >> Browse for themese >> select the file
• Create a Matrix showing Product Category, Product Sub Category wise Sales, Profit , Profit %, Sales Vs LY, Profit Vs LY - Visualization
• Change the Matrix values using Slicer for CM, L3M, YTD,YTG, Full Year, MAT, Fiscal Year - Visualization
• Add currency slicer to convert values into SGD, GBP (Conversion Rate: SGD to GBP is 2.03) - Visualization
• Add a multi card showing Sales CY, Sales LY, Gr% and another card showing Profit CY, Profit LY, Gr% - Visualization
• Add a growth sign arrow up if Gr is >=0 and arrow down if Gr < 0 in Matrix and both the cards - Visualization
• Add a tree map showing customer segment wise sales - Visualization
• Add a Line and Clustered column chart showing Region wise Sales and Profit and a Line showing Profit vs LY and Sales Vs LY – Visualization
