CALL FOR THE BITS-RMIT TRANSNATIONAL JOINT PhD SCHOLAR POSITION
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the BITS-RMIT Transnational Joint PhD Scholar position
to work on the following project under the supervision of the Project Investigators from
BITS-Pilani Hyderabad Campus and RMIT University, Australia.
Title of the project: Smart Phase Transition Film for Solar Energy Conversion and Storage
Brief Description: The conventional solar energy storage systems are capable of storing only the
thermal energy obtained from the solar radiation. In this context, for the very
first time, through this interdisciplinary collaborative research, a novel small-
scale workable model of the proposed smart phase transition film-based
energy storage system will be developed to demonstrate its real-time
application for efficient conversion of solar photo-to-thermal energy with
enhanced energy storage benefits.
