 Opinion ( Agree and Disagree)

Some people think that the government should provide free education to
students in university. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some individuals claim that providing university education without any cost that students
must bear is highly beneficial and should be implemented by the government. Personally, I
partly agree with this suggestion based on some major reasons that are explained in this
essay

Main 1: tại sao nên miễn phí giáo dục đại học
- help poor student
- more access to education
- encourage people to learn
- improve the economy
- students a chance
On the one hand, there are some persuasive rationale that supports the claim that university
education should be free of [Link], the cost of education has increased
significantly due to the higher demand for quality, teaching facilities, and human resources,
effectively prohibiting students with lower means of living from entering universities. This
issue leads to the inability of talented individuals to contribute to their nation’s workforce,
slowing down economic development. If the university education is given for free, such a
problem would not occur, helping the nations develop better thanks to an improved
workforce.

On the other hand, despite the idealistic nature of making university education free of
charge, its actual application could bring about many obstacles and problems. The coverage
of such an expenditure means that the government is required to handle an increasing
amount of tuition fee and a large number of students. Also, some nations, especially
developing ones, may not have a flexible budget that can be spent on such a large expense.
As a result, if the proposal of removing the financial obligation for students is implemented,
many governments would not manage to complete such a task.

In conclusion, although there are mixed opinions on determining whether the cost of
university education should be taken on by all students, I think that the government still
needs to provide financial aid on a case-by-case basis. While students with disadvantaged
socio-economic backgrounds should receive support, ones who can pay still need to follow
through with their financial obligation to ensure the function of the university.
2. Discuss Both View and Give Your Opinion
Some people indicate that apartments are the best type of housing, while
others argue that private houses in the street are better. Discuss both views
and give your opinion.

Some individuals are of the opinion that the optimal type of accommodation is apartments. In
contrast, others think that residing in a private house on the street is a superior
[Link] both schools of thought offer merit, I agree more with the view that the final
decision should be made based on the actual needs of each household.

Main 1: tại sao apartment is the best

- giá rẻ
- an ninh
- tiết kiệm diện tích
On the one hand, there are some major rationale that explain why some people think that
apartments have the potential to be the best accommodation type. On the same area of
land, the construction of apartments would generally yield a larger number of housing units
compared to what can be achieved if private houses are built. Also, the shared facilities and
amenities would reduce the demand for travel, further cutting down the cost of living. Thus,
the affordability makes apartments suitable to people with lower means of living, which
generally makes up the largest parts of our population.

On the other hand, opponents of the previous view claim that private houses on the street
are a better form of accommodation. The close proximity with other people, which is
common in apartment complexes, may disrupt the personal living space. For houses on the
street, such an issue could be mitigated better due to better insulation from the outside
environment. Also, the value of private houses on the street has been proven to increase
better compared to apartments, making them a worthy form of investment that yields more
value in the future.

In conclusion, although there are mixed opinions on determining the best forms of
accommodation, I believe that the ultimate decision needs to be made according to the
demand and financial conditions of each household. If a family values privacy and has an
interest in investment, a private house on the street is a superior option. In contrast, the
lower cost of living associated with apartments is inevitably the best option for people with
lower levels of income
3. Nowadays, some nations tax sugar more heavily to help
citizens eat healthily. Do the advantages outweigh the
disadvantages?

In this day and age, taxing sugar more heavily to make people’s diets healthier has
become an approach that some nations have adopted. In this essay, I would evaluate
both pros and cons before proposing whether or not the positive aspect overperforms
its drawbacks.

On the one hand, there are some benefits associated with imposing a higher tax level
on sugar to improve the diets of citizens. As sugar is highly affordable and can
enhance the taste of many dishes, it is virtually present in many parts of our diets,
causing excessive accumulation of fats that lead to health problems, ranging from
obesity and cardiovascular diseases. If the price of sugar is made more expensive,
its consumption may plunge, helping people eat better and avoid healthcare. This
would relieve a lot of burden on each citizen and the whole healthcare system.

On the other hand, this measure would have some problematic implications that
should receive more attention. Sugar has been an important part of our diets for
many centuries as it exists in various forms and in many types of food, which
ultimately gives us energy to function. When the price of sugar increases, many
foods that have moderate amounts of it would have the price surged accordingly,
causing problems for people’s accessibility to food and prompting blacklashes from
general consumers.

In conclusion, after assessing both the positive and negative implications of the
measure that imposes higher tax on sugar to improve people’s diets, I think that the
benefits outweigh the negative aspects. While many food producers over-utilize
sugar and are directly responsible for causing more health problems for consumers,
sugar has long been a part of our diets. As a result, imposing higher tax should be
applied for food that has unacceptable sugar content.
4.Problem and Solution

In this era, technology has replaced a lot of humans at work. Why? What are the
solutions?

In this day and age, many occupations have been replaced by technological
advancements, increasing the unemployment rate. In this essay, I would explain the
reason leading to this tendency before proposing some effective solutions.

There are some mảo reasons that explain why technology has replaced many
humans at work. First, machines have the ability to function continuously without the
need of break time, which is an inevitable requirement for human workers. Second,
technological advancements have equipped machines with the ability to make
decisions, moderate their actions, and improve the accuracy level to a point that can
not be matched by humans. Thus, many jobs have been replaced, and the tendency
does not show any sign of stopping.

Despite the severity of this development, governmental intervention along with raising the
awareness of each individual could effectively mitigate it. There should be regulation from
the government to better protect the benefits of employees, especially ones that are prone to
be replaced by technology. The government should require a specific number of human
workers at a factory site, acting as a supervisor of machinery works. Also, each citizen must
equip themselves with sufficient knowledge to better adapt to changes brought about by
technology, which could help them find jobs in novel job markets, such as computer science
or machinery design.

In conclusion, many people are losing their jobs due to the higher level of efficiency and
effectiveness that technological advancement has brought about. However, the government
can still mitigate this by issuing new regulations to protect workers’ benefits and provide
more education for people to đin employment opportunities in novel job markets.
1. Practice agree or disagree
Some people think that the increasing use of computers and mobile phones
for communication has a negative effect on young people’s reading and
writing skills. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is claimed that the widespread use of digital devices for communication has raised
concerns about its impact on young individuals’ literacy skills. Personally, I partly
agree with this view based on some major reasons that are explained in this essay.

On the one hand, one significant drawback of digital communication is that it may
hinder young people’s writing abilities. To begin with, individuals tend to use texting
or chatting apps where they use slang or emojis or informal language. These habits
expose them mostly to short-form content and can lead to frequent spelling or
grammatical mistakes. For instance, students who frequently communicate on social
media may bring informal expressions such as u instead of you in their academic
writing, which is inappropriate in academic contexts. Over time, this constant
exposure to casual language can weaken their writing accuracy and academic
performance.

On the other hand, technology offers valuable opportunities to develop reading and
writing abilities. Firstly, young people can read a variety of e-books or online articles
through social media and digital platforms, where they have access to informative
content that helps broaden their vocabulary and improve sentence structure.
Additionally, students might use online apps such as Google Docs, Quillbot, which
include grammar-checking tools that support language learning. For example,
individuals can use these applications to correct their writing without relying on a
teacher, as they are user-friendly and highly convenient. Therefore, when used with
intention and moderation, digital tools can serve as powerful aids for developing
literacy skills.

In conclusion, although technology can have a negative impact on young individuals’

writing skills when they are used inappropriately, it also holds great potential to
enhance language proficiency. In my view, its effect depends largely on how wisely
and purposefully it is used.
Some experts believe that when a country is already rich, any additional increase in
economic wealth does not make its citizens any more satisfied. To what extent do
you agree or disagree?

Some experts claim that further increases in national income do not necessarily lead
to individuals in prosperous countries any happier -> greater happiness among
individuals in wealthy nations. Personally, I partly agree with this view as both
economic and non-economic factors play a role in determining happiness<- based
on some major reasons that are explained in this essay.

On the one hand, in affluent societies where core necessities such as food,
healthcare, and shelter are already satisfied, further economic growth does not
significantly enhance happiness. To begin with, people living in rich countries have
already experienced most services and have access to more luxury items, but these
tend to offer only temporary satisfaction, this means that further economic growth
often brings diminishing returns in terms of happiness. For instance, Buying a more
expensive car or larger house may not significantly improve one’s daily well-being.
Therefore, material prosperity contributes less to emotional fulfillment.

On the other hand, some argue that additional economic wealth can still enhance
people's satisfaction, as it allows governments to invest in public services such as
healthcare and education. With greater resources, governments are able to improve
the quality of essential services, including upgrading hospitals with modern
equipment and expanding access to better schools. These improvements can
significantly reduce public anxiety and promote overall well-being, particularly among
low-income groups.

With abundant resources, governments might be able to purchase more high-quality

equipment, which is vitally needed in hospitals. Additionally, they can upgrade
schools with several modern facilities such as projectors and smart boards and also
provide free access to medical care and education. These improvements are
completely beneficial for people in low-income groups and make them more secure
and content. As a result, when economic growth is along with purposeful investment,
it can still contribute meaningfully to the happiness of citizens, even in an already
wealthy country.

satisfaction in prosperous nations, it can still enhance well-being if invested in
essential public services and targeted towards those in need.

It is more important to spend public money promoting a healthy
lifestyle in order to prevent illness than to spend it on the treatment of
people who are already ill. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

These days, there is a growing debate about whether the government should spend
its budget on promoting a healthy lifestyle rather than treating those who are already
sick. Personally, I agree with this view to some extent, as I believe that prevention
and treatment play a vital role in public health.

cardiovascular disease or diabetes, also reduce financial on citizen
- for instance : promoting regular exercise, balanced diet, -> lower the risk of
chronic disease such as cardiovascular disease or diabetes, also reduce

One strong reason why governments should invest in promoting a healthy lifestyle is
that prevention can significantly reduce both the risk of diseases and the financial
burden on the healthcare system. When people adopt healthier habits such as
regular exercise, balanced diets, which reduce the risk of chronic diseases like
diabetes or cardiovascular disease. This means fewer people require expensive
treatment or hospital care and also decline financially for citizens. For instance,
countries that run campaigns to reduce smoking or vape and encourage several
physical activities or organize a sport competition, this leads to help individuals have
motivation in their lifestyle.

mini-conclusion: therefore, it is crucial that public funds also support hospitals and
advanced technologies to ensure comprehensive healthcare coverage

On the other hand, despite the benefit of prevention, treatment remains essential,
especially that can not be avoided through lifestyle changes. Many serious illnesses
might not be prevented, which can suddenly appear such as genetic disorders and
cancers. These patients depend entirely on access to medical care. For example,
people diagnosed with disease like leukemia or those involved in accidents, they
require immediate care and often expensive treatments to survive. Therefore, it is
crucial that public funds also support hospitals and advanced technologies to
ensure comprehensive healthcare coverage.

In conclusion, while treatment is crucial for those suffering from unavoidable illness ,
I believe that promoting a healthy lifestyle should be prioritized, as it offers more
sustainable and cost-effective solutions for public health in the long run
