The Sub-Committee on All Engineering Technologies shall consist
of following members, to be appointed by the Controlling Attthority
in the first and subsequent instances, namely :
i. Convener, shall be from the field of All Engineering *J
Technologies;
ii. Secretary of the council;
iii. Representative of Higher Education Commission;
iv. One Representative each from Provincial Technrcal Education
& Vocational Training Authority, lncluding AJ&K & Grlgit
Baltistan:
v. Dean / Chairperson of department of Universities that are
offering Engineering Technology Programs, from each
province including AJ&K, Gilgit Baltistan and Federal; and
vi. Four members, being Technologists and having at least ten
years of University level teaching and research experience in
the same domain.
3.2. Sub-Cornmittee on Life Sciences:
The Sub-Committee on Life Sciences shall consist of following
members, to be appointed by the Controlling Authority in the first
and subsequent instances, namely :
i. Convener, shall be from the field of Technology programs
related to Life Sciences;
ii. Secretary to the council;
iii. Representative of Higher Education Commission;
iv, Dean / Chairperson of departnrent of Universities that are
offering Animal Production & Technology and/or
Bir:technology Programs, from each province including AJ&K
Gilgit Baltistan and Federal, and
v, Four menrbers, being Technologists and having at least ten
years of University level teaching and research experrerrce in
the same domain

The sub-committee of physics shalr consist of foilowing members,
to be appointed by the controiling Authcrity in the first and subse-
quent instances, namely .
i Convener, shall be from the field of Technology programs
related to Physics;

years of University level teaching and research experience in
the same domain
Sub-Committee on Computinq:
The Sub-committee on computing shall consist of following
members, to be appointed by the controlling Authority in the first
and subsequent instances, namely :
i. Convener, shall be from the field of Technology programs
related to Computing;
il. Secretary of the Council,
iii. Representative of Higher Education Commission;
iv Dean / Chairperson of department of Universities that are
offering lnformation Technorogy programs, from each province
including AJ&K, Gilgit Baltistan and Federal; and
Four members, being Technologists and having at least ten
years of University level teaching and research experience
in
the same domain.
4 The Convener and the members of each sub-committee shall hold office
for a period of four years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for not
more
than one similar term. The convener and the members of all sub-committees
may not be removed from office before the expiry of their term save
on proven
charges of corruption, inefficiency, permanent disability or failure to
attend
three consecutrve meetings without intimation in advance.

TERMS OF REFERENCE OF N|ATIONAL TECHNOLOGY COUNC|I= $TQ)
1. To organize and carry out a comprehensive, program of accreditation of
Technology programs leading to degrees, "
2. To develop Accreditation Policies and Processes,
3. To develop Guidelines and Procedures for Program Evaluators;
4. To develop Guidelines and Procedures for Programs and lnstitutions;
5 Io develop Guidelines for Selection of Evaluators;
6 To identify and develop Guidelines for ensuring "No Conflict of lnterest",
7. To develop Program Evaluators' Training Manual Self Study
Questionnaire;
B. To develop Forms and Templates;
9. To select program evaluators;
10. To train and assess program evaluators;
11 . The NTC shall propose polrcies, procedures, and criteria or may
suggest changes or revisions of the same forAccreditation;
12. The NTC shall administer the accreditation process based on the
approved policies, procedures, and criteria;
'13 The NTC shall approve the list of evaluators to participate in the
process of accreditation of academic programs;
14. The NTC shall constitute Accreditation lnspection Committee (AlC) for
evaluation of relevant academic programs for accreditation AIC (to be
constituted from the approved list of evaluators) shall make recommen-
dations to NTC. The final decision of the accreditation or necessary
action will be made by NTC;

5. Procedures and decisions on all appeals with respect to accreditation
actions shall be the responsibrlity r:f the NTC;
16 Accredrtation decrsions will be based exclusively on the suitable
criteria, polrcies, and procedures and approved by NTC;
