🔹 1. What is Direct Speech?
Direct speech is when you report the exact words spoken by a person.
These words are usually enclosed in quotation marks (“...”).
Example:

🔹 2. What is Indirect Speech?
Indirect speech is when you report what someone said, but not the exact words.
You change tenses, pronouns, time expressions, and remove quotation marks.
Example:
He said that he was tired.
