Dear Amanda,

Long time no see! How have you been? I am so delighted that you and your family are planning
to travel to my country for about two weeks for a holiday. It’s a pleasure for me to help you with
all matters you asked for.

Firstly, in terms of the best time to visit my country, I highly recommend that you may go
between February and April or August and October. Because at that time, the weather will be
nice almost everywhere.

Secondly, regarding some places to visit, it is a good idea to go sightseeing at tourist attractions
such as Ha Long Bay, Trang An Landscape Complex, Hoi An ancient town, Ho Chi Minh
Mausoleum, and so on. Moreover, it would be great if you could go on a trip to the war remnants
museum to know more about the Vietnamese’s history and how brave they are to get through
such a lot of war in the past.

Last but not least, when it comes to clothes that you should bring when you travel to Vietnam, I
think cool clothes would be the best choice because the weather in Vietnam is hotter than in
England. A little note is that if you go to pagodas, temples, or shrines, you ought to prepare
polite and discreet clothes.

I hope you and your family will have a memorable trip to Vietnam. And if you come to Ho Chi
Minh City, call me and I’ll take you to enjoy all of the delicious street foods.

Best wished,

Tran Thi Hien Nhan
