Tracking Shortcuts on iPhone
Click the below two links in your phone to add shortcuts
Get Current Location
Repeat
1. Download the Shortcuts
You should have received two Shortcuts via email:
• Get Current Location
• Repeat
Tap on each email link to open in Safari, then:
1. Tap “Get Shortcut”.
2. Tap “Add Shortcut” to install it into the Shortcuts app.
💡 If prompted about untrusted shortcuts, go to:
Settings → Shortcuts → Enable “Allow Untrusted Shortcuts”.
Click “Always Allow” when it says all “Get Current Location” to send 1 location to Chrome
Next, Click three dots on All shortcuts,it will pop a window like this:

Click ‘username paul’ in the bottom and change to your own username, like ‘Leah’. Presss
“done” once you finish all inputing your name and “Done” in the top right. You can test it by
click the “Get current location shortcut.”
Next, For a test for the other shortcut - Repeat, Click “repeat”, in the pop-up, click “Allow” run
the shortcut, and click “Allow” to allow “Get Current Location” to access your current location?.
In the privacy pop-up, Allow “ Get Current Location” to send 1 location to Chrome”. Choose
“Always Allow”
2. Create Automation to Run "Repeat" Every 15 Minutes
Follow these steps to automate location tracking every 15 minutes between 8 AM and 5 PM:
1. Open the Shortcuts app.
2. Tap the “Automation” tab at the bottom.
3. Tap “+” (top-right) → “Create Personal Automation”.
4. Choose “Time of Day”.
- Set Start Time: 8:00 AM
5. Tap “Add Action”
- Search for and select: “Run Shortcut”
- Choose the "Repeat" shortcut
6. Tap Next, then:
- unselect “Ask Before Running”
- Tap Don’t Ask to confirm or in some version of iphone,it may say “Run Immediately”
7. Tap Done.
Repeat the entire above steps and choose 8:15 AM in step 4.
