The Quran teaches Muslims to make use of Allah's creation in a manner that reflects gratitude, sustainability, and ethical conduct, involving honest labor and fair treatment in transactions. In contrast, some communities in Uganda misuse these provisions by engaging in deceitful practices such as manipulating scales for profit, which directly opposes Islamic ethics as these practices exploit the weak and contradict the principles of honesty commanded by Allah .

The Quran and Hadith predict trials towards the end times, including war and moral decline, reflecting current events like conflicts in various countries and societal moral issues. False prophets are warned about, with the emphasis on discerning true guidance from deceit. Islam stresses faith, patience, and adherence to divine principles in the face of such trials. Believers are encouraged to remain steadfast in their faith, uphold Islamic moral values, and seek peace, highlighting the relevance of these teachings amidst global challenges .

Islam guides new converts such as Jumba by encouraging gradual learning and sincerity in practicing faith, beginning with the Five Pillars of Islam. Converts should seek knowledge of Islamic rituals, study the Quran and Hadith, and engage in community support systems such as mosques for guidance. Mentors or experienced Muslims can offer practical advice on correct worship practices, including establishing prayer routines, understanding dietary laws, and comprehending basic theological concepts, promoting a supportive environment for spiritual growth .

Jumba needs to correct several aspects of his prayer practice according to Islamic teachings: he must face the Qibla while praying , make a proper intention (Niyyah) in his heart before commencing prayer, perform ablution (Wudu) to achieve purification, dress modestly in clean attire, including covering from the navel to the knees for men, and use water for purification after natural calls if accessible. The imam can guide Jumba through the essentials of Swalah, emphasizing the importance of these acts as foundational requirements of prayer in Islam.

The Quran condemns adultery, violence, corruption, and bribery, which are rampant in Ngomongo. It emphasizes justice, mercy, and righteousness as central tenets of societal harmony. Islamic teachings urge strong adherence to ethical conduct and the responsibility of leadership to maintain integrity. The chiefs should act justly, prioritize the welfare of citizens, and enforce laws against corruption and immorality, drawing from Quranic injunctions that prohibit taking bribes and command righteous living .

Islamic teachings warn of moral decay as a sign of the end times, with an emphasis on remaining faithful and upholding Islamic values. It encourages Muslims to resist societal pressures, maintaining personal piety and community ethics. The rise of the anti-Christ is seen as a major sign, urging believers to strengthen their faith and understanding of Islam to withstand deceptive influences. Such teachings underscore the importance of spiritual vigilance and firm adherence to moral principles in navigating societal challenges .

Islamic teachings emphasize the equality of all children regardless of gender, as stated in several Hadiths and Quranic references. Fahad should be reminded that blaming his wife for having daughters contradicts the principles of patience and gratitude extolled in Islam. Islamic teachings encourage husbands to support their wives emotionally and spiritually, particularly in times of hardship. As a witness, one could counsel the couple on the virtues of compassion, respect, and the importance of fulfilling marital and parental responsibilities, highlighting that each child is a blessing from Allah .

Islamic scripture strictly prohibits cheating in trade, such as using dishonest measures, as it constitutes a major sin. The story of Allah's punishment upon the people of Median serves as a warning against exploiting others through deceitful means. It illustrates divine disapproval and the severe consequences of violating principles of fairness and honesty, emphasizing that traders should conduct business with integrity and accountability, reflecting God-consciousness in their dealings .

The Quran emphasizes peace and justice, urging Muslims to strive for peaceful conflict resolution. It permits warfare only in defense or against oppression, highlighting strict ethical guidelines such as protecting non-combatants and pursuing peace when opponents incline towards it. These principles apply to current global conflicts, encouraging dialogue, equitable solutions, and humanitarian considerations, embedding a framework for ethical conduct even in warfare .

Islamic teachings emphasize the equality of all human beings and denounce gender bias. The Quran celebrates the value of both sons and daughters and rejects any preference based on gender. Advocating for equal treatment, Islam encourages families to cherish daughters as much as sons, recognizing children's potential and rights. Educating individuals like Fahad on these teachings can help reduce gender biases, promote inclusivity, and foster respect and harmony within family structures .
