These days, we often hear that young people get sick because of pressure.

It is common for
young people to have little leisure time and be under a lot of pressure to work hard in their
studies.

As we know, college enrollment rates are falling. For one thing, the population is increasing, but
the number of college degrees is not. For another, subjects are getting harder and harder.
Moreover, young people do not want to disappoint their parents. Naturally, they often feel
exhausted and overwhelmed.

In my opinion, we should balance work and relaxation to relieve pressure. For example, we can
make a schedule and scientifically allocate work and rest time, such as taking a 15-minute break
after studying for an hour. Going for a walk and getting fresh air can also help relax both body
and mind.

As parents, you should communicate more with your children. If your children live at school, call
them and ask about their day, how they feel, and whether they need any help. If you have free
time during their vacation, take them out to relieve their boredom.

To reduce young people’s stress, schools can organize more activities, such as sports games,
performances, and recreational games to make students feel happy and relaxed. Schools can
also offer psychology lessons to help students develop a more positive mindset and feel less
stressed.

In conclusion, feeling stressed is quite common these days. In my view, some stress is necessary
to encourage progress. However, the most important thing is to balance work and relaxation,
take breaks when needed, stay healthy, and keep moving forward.
