Event Management System

Abstract
Taqreeb, a web-based event management system was developed for event planning
and coordination in simple, effective, and user-friendly. Taqreeb was developed
primarily for societies, businesses, and other groups to manage their events on one
single platform with no human labor. This system incorporates creating an event, Task
Assignment, participant registration, team management, and payment handling

The frontend is built using React and standard web technologies like HTML, CSS, and
JavaScript while [Link] as backend along with a relational database for secure data
storage. Taqreeb caters to all kinds of events: conferences, workshops, concerts
corporate events as well as sports competitions. Organizers can divide their teams into
specific roles such as Event Planning, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to
make sure every part of the event is properly managed. A task management system
also helps track the progress of each team.

Other important features include participant registration, event notifications, reminders


for deadlines, and a feedback system where attendees can share their experience after
the event. Taqreeb also supports virtual events by providing links for online sessions
through platforms like Zoom.

Overall, Taqreeb is built to make event management less stressful and more
professional by automating many steps that usually take a lot of time. It aims to save
effort, improve coordination, and ensure that both organizers and participants have a
smooth experience from beginning to end.
