a. (2- i)3 b. eπi/2

2. Express the following complex numbers in the form reiθ:

a. 4 - √2i b. π + ei

3. Express the following complex numbers in the form x+iy:

a. 6e2πi/3

4. Use the formula of De Moivre, to derive the trigonometric identities

sin2θ = 2sinθcosθ
sin3θ = 3sinθ- 4sin3θ

5. Evaluate the value of ii.

6. Find the length of the vector r = xi+ yj + zk and of the vector v = 2i - j + 3k.

7. Prove that A · B = 0 if A and B are perpendicular to each other.

8. Show that the vector r = 2i - 3k lies entirely in a plane perpendicular to the y axis.

9. Find the angle between the two vectors A = -i + 2j + k and B = 3i - j + 2k.

10. Determine C =A x B given that A = -i + 2j + k and B = 3i- j + 2k. What is B x A
