Scout Service and Relationship Month – 2025
Organized by the Sri Lanka Scouts Association
From 1st July to 22nd July 2025
We are pleased to announce that the Scout Service and Relationship Month for
the year 2025, organized by the Sri Lanka Scouts Association, will be held from
1st July to 22nd July. This annual initiative stands as the largest and most
impactful fundraising project for the scouts of Sri Lanka.
During this period, our scout troop will be visiting the homes of relatives, friends,
and members of the community to offer assistance with various household tasks
and services. In return, we will be kindly requesting donations in support of our
troop's activities. This project is not only a fundraiser but also a valuable
opportunity for scouts to build relationships, strengthen community ties, and
embody the core values of service and responsibility.
The minimum fundraising goal set for our troop this year is Rs. 70,000, which will
be used to support our upcoming projects, events, and community service
activities throughout the year. These funds are essential for the development of
our scouts, both in terms of skill-building and providing meaningful opportunities
for growth and learning.
All members of our patrol are committed to participating actively in this initiative,
and we are enthusiastic about making this year’s campaign the most successful one
yet.
We deeply appreciate the support and generosity of our community, which
continues to empower the scouting movement in Sri Lanka.
