Weight 20% 35% 35% 10%

1. We will have two quizzes (10% each, totaling 20%), one midterm exam, and one
final exam. All registered students must take the exams on the designed exam
dates. No make-up exam will be allowed.
2. Please assign one group member to upload the assignments to the YZU portal.
Assignments can be completed by a group of 3-5 people. Please submit each
assignment as a group.
3. A peer review will be conducted at the end of the semester. If your group members
identify you as a free-rider, it may negatively affect your grade.
4. The teaching assistant (TA) session is from 16:10 to 17:00 every Monday. The TA
will review the questions and demonstrate the solutions.
5. Please submit your group member list by September 16, 2024, via the link

※ Quizzes will take place during the TA sessions, while the midterm and final exams
are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday evening during exam week to align with
the schedules of students from other classes.

⚫ Final grades may be curved if I believe the original grades do not accurately
reflect the class’s overall performance.
⚫ Please withdraw from the class if you cannot meet the course requirements,
particularly taking the scheduled exams. No exceptions will be made.
