Conjunctions
Conjunctions connect words in a sentence or connect two independent
clauses into one sentence. Use a comma before the conjunction to
separate the clauses. The three most common conjunctions are and, but
and or.

He is a cow, and he is holding a mug.

Cows get tired, but they do not drink coffee.

This picture is silly, or this picture is funny.

DIRECTIONS: Use the conjunctions indicated to join the sentences below.

2. Do you want pizza? Do you want salad? (or)
