VIRTUAL POINTE SHOE FITTING FORM
The Shoe Room’s “Virtual Fitting” system allows for long distance pointe shoe fittings. Our expert
fitters will work with any dance student who does not have access to the boutique in Toronto to
provide the same excellent fitting and customer service. To complete the following six steps, you will
need a measuring tape and a camera.

Step Four: Photos of Your Feet
Photos are a big help in determining the correct brand/model of shoe that is right for your feet.

Step Five: Trace and Measure Your Feet
Tracing Instructions
1. Put your full weight on your right foot and carefully trace it with a pen (not a pencil or marker)
on a blank piece of paper. Hold the pen in an upright, vertical position and make a clean,
unbroken line.
2. Repeat for the left foot using an additional blank piece of paper.
3. In centimeters, measure your foot tracings with a measuring tape as precisely as possible.
4. Use the Length and Width Reference Lines (see example – red line in the diagram on the
tracing form) for each foot and include the measurements for each foot below.
5. Wrap the measuring tape around your foot at the Width Reference Line and use that number
to record the circumference for each foot below.
