Re: Updated Billing Frequency
Dear Ms. Geenie,
I am writing to inform you of our new pricing model effective
February 1, 2019. On the first of February, we will be switching
from an annual billing cycle to a quarterly billing cycle and
this letter contains important information that may impact
your organization.
After conducting extensive research and receiving feedback
from our customers, we have determined that most customers
strongly prefer a quarterly billing cycle rather than an annual
one. In order to best suit your needs, we have decided to offer
this benefit, which will take effect on February 1, 2019.
This letter is simply to notify you of the upcoming changes,
and no immediate action is required from you at this time. We
thank you for your continued business.
Sincerely,
John Bravo
What is a business request letter?
A business request letter is one you send in the course of your work to request
something from another business. Your letter might be straightforward and direct, or you
might be writing a persuasive letter to encourage the recipient to take a certain action. A
business request letter is formatted like any other business letter you might send and
often should be printed on company letterhead so that it looks official. It should include
any information necessary for the person you're contacting to respond to you.

Good news letters
• Start the letter by announcing the good news to the recipients.
• Highlight the benefit of the news. For example, if your business experienced
an increase in sales, you could give all of your employees a big bonus.
• Thank the stakeholders for their contribution. Thank your employees for
their efforts and your customers for their loyalty.
Let us look at an example for each situation
Good news letter to employees
Dear All,
We are very happy to inform you that our November sales reached two
million USD, 30% more than the forecasted figure. This marks a huge
improvement from last year and a sign that the business is growing in
the right direction.
We would like to thank you all for your contribution and dedication. This
would have not been possible without the combined effort of all of our
staff.
In recognition of this remarkable achievement, the management has
decided to award everyone $500 bonus.
Keep up the good work.
Regards

Receiver’s Address
Dear Receiver name,
I am a resident of Model Town Ludhiana. As Ludhiana is the primary
developed city, I am writing this letter to make you aware of rising
traffic without proper management.
Due to heavy traffic jam, we cannot reach our workplaces on time
which puts a wrong impression on our part. The tremendous increase
in traffic has no proper management. Also, the newly completed
highway flyovers are stuck and full every time. There is no chance that
one can move and reach the workplace on time. We have to face an
everyday rush of 2 hours. Truck traffic is the major cause as late-night
travel of trucks causes nuisance during nights. We are highly
disturbed by this. Another reason for writing this letter is rising
accidental situations caused by this traffic jam.
I hope you will look into my request and take action against this
problem.
Thank You

Dear Receiver’s Name,
Since I have joined your company a year back, I have been working
very hard on your projects. Also, you have praised me for my good

letter to remind you of your promise to raise my salary after a year.
As you have promised me to raise the salary after my yearly
performance, I request you to consider it kindly. I know I have been on
good terms and will be working very hard and never let you down
anyhow.
I hope you will look at it and consider it.
Thank You
